So his work hours- are not a true day. 10-2:45. What business charges for a full day but you have too retire by 2:45 pm? Also- Paul the owner REFUSED to back my 6x9 trailer into the spot he designated - I said no/ I don’t feel comfortable backing this large trailer I to that space. He said that his “talking me through it” would absolve he from liability. Umm heck no!! So I asked him to back my care with the trailer on I to the spot or drop the trailer, or move it himself with his vechichkes. He didn’t do any of those. He also told me that I talk to much, that o was ride , and I needed to “shut the fuck up and listen to him “ so after I called my husband to help me - because Paul the owner has now abandoned me and my 80 year old mom in the parking lot with trailer still attached Soi put my camera on and ask him his name and number. He says his name is ‘Fred 1256’. He is now pushing me with his chest making physical contact to push me out the door. I’m 5’2” and he’s easily 5’10”. I now contact U-Haul corporate and the cops. The cops ok me to drop the trailer and take a copy if my video of him bartering me while I ask him for his name and number. Turns out he lies to me. His name is not Fred-Ir’s Paul So DONT rent from location is you don’t want to be assaulted
Scott BServcie at pick-up was great A general comment: Your speed limit sticker is dangerous. Nobody will believe the 55 mph limit. Most people will most likely just ignore this and drive at whatever speed they want. Considering that the actual speed limit for the trailer is probably 75 mph due to lmitations of the tires, this could potential create an extremely dangerous situation for people not tking this limit into account. For the safety of everybody, please, state a proper speed limit for this trailer. Having said that, I do admit that depending on the towing configuration, 75 mph may not be a safe speed (situation with tow vehicle at the load limit).
