I placed a reservation for a 20’ truck on line with an in person to person check in. Didn’t realize the facility was closed on saturdays and the website showed hours if I remember correctly but shouldn’t allow in person pickup if the facility is not open the day you pick iup the truck. Also received a call shortly after placing my reservation telling me there weren’t 20’ trucks available. I had to downsize to a 15’. There were however 2-3 20’ trucks in the lot. The 24/7 representative that answered when I got to the facility and realized there was no one there was great. She led me thru step by step. I was able to get the truck. I parked my care immediately behind the U-Haul I was assigned, my car was away from the vape shop business building and was not in the way at all. When I returned my rental to pickup my car, imy car was blocked in by 2 other U-Haul trucks purposely so close that I barely got my small Nissan juke out from between them. Doubtful this was done by customers returning equipment because they were trucks that were in the lot parked elsewhere when I picked mine up earlier in the day and took some maneuvering to get this accomplished I’m certain. I thought this was very rude of Schaefer used cars U-Haul rentals especially since they weren’t even supposed to be open on saturdays. I will recommend any other U-Haul rental facilities in a half hour radius of their location before I speak highly of the rental facility used.
