The seats were damp and there was water standing in the cup holders. The rubber flooring under the pedals was also pulled loose and bunched up under the brake pedal, making a VERY un-safe condition. The staff was not very friendly, and communicated very poorly. If I had not just recently rented from another location, I would have had NO idea about my responsibilities and the requirements i needed to meet before I returned the unit. If I was not in a predicament, I would have never followed through with my rental, I would have gone to another U-Haul location.

I booked to return in Taylorsville, but when I was ready to return they told me I had to go to a different county to return because nobody in Taylorsville was taking returns. That's not what I booked and was a significant inconvenience.
The trailer was extremely heavy and they wouldn't help me with connecting/disconnecting it.
U-haul representative was rude, not informative. He did not ask me if I replaced the gas in the truck. My fiance had to ask, after we started to leave. Then he over charged me by 100.00 per my original quote. I was not given any paperwork when I check out, and left the gas station. I had to call back to the main branch after viewing my bank statement. Regional office, was polite and helpful. Especially Robert. I will not rent a u-haul truck from Mt. Washington "Pearls" again. Not worth it.
Have them go somewhere else. Upon return they need to checkin the UHaul in a timely manner. Workers did not checkin the Uhaul in 24 hours after we dropped it off. Was told my workers yesterday that we would have an email in the morning. We had to call Uhaul and they called Pearls to find out what was going on. Will not use this place again!
New customer service people very unfriendly this is the third time in a month I have rented in the car has been dirty I've gone in and told him he said oh well he doesn't clean them
I was quoted one price for my U-Haul rental. I went over by 20 miles and my bill more than doubled.
The location is a gas station/store. His UHaul business was an after-thought. He couldn't find my order, and had me get on his laptop and look for it using my reference number while he continued to check out patrons of his gas station. The truck had transmission problems, and was difficult to drive. The inside cab was dirty and had something spilled in the cup holders.
Tell the person who is renting it it is reserved out. Not expect me to bring it back 35 miles out of way. 14 hrs early an pay extra then resolve the problem myself.... Very disappointed in overall treatment.
The truck was dirty with mostly hay and other small items left behind. The truck had Mark's on it that werent put on the paper as well. When we mentioned this all to the guy he just blow it off. I know there was a language barrier but we shouldnt have to clean out our truck before using and we didnt want to be held responsible for marks we didnt cause. We however got no where with him. I will say this isnt our first bad experience, the 2 times prior to this at a location in Bardstown, KY we have received dirty trucks from there as well. If a charge is being applied for a dirty truck then someone needs to be cleaning it out and every truck needs to be cleaned before renting it out. The online form kept going back to less than 24 hour rental, we even spoke to the guy he said 8 am return, but all emails said 8 hours prior at midnight. We do have pictures of the truck before we left the lot.
I did not sign up for safe move coverage so I was charged 28 too wmuch. I also requested a 17 foot truck but only a 15 was available. That increased my mileage cost because we had to make 2 trips.
people didn't have good understanding of U-Haul system what should have taken minutes took hours
person there was not interested in helping at all. I had rented and paid for two days, but only kept the truck for one day. I wanted to ask about a refund but the person would not/could not address my concern. I am out over one hundred dollars simply because the person would not discuss a refund. Needless to say, I will not ever use this facility again!

This was a horrible experience. We have moved with uhaul multiple times and have never had an experience. Plus I got charged twice

The service from this location was very good however I rented a truck from the Preston highway facility a week plus in advance the truck was not available and no one told me prior to me getting there. The manager of the Preston Highway store was very apologetic and found another vehicle for me.The issue at hand is the truck was smaller I had to drive 30 miles out of my way to rent a vehicle and I didn't get the job done

I had initially set up a rental over the phone with another location nearby. When I arrived the staff there notified me that â€œuHaul Corporateâ€ had taken the trailer and I would not be able to rent it. The staff was friendly, and arranged for me to pick up the same trailer at another location nearby. I drove to the other location and if I had not pushed for the local propieter to contact someone by phone then I would not have been able to rent from this location either. He continually told me, with severely limited English, that he had no trailers there (the trailer was parked right outside). I told him that I had confirmed the reservation with the other location and he reluctantly called someone by phone and I was able to rent the trailer over the phone. Both pick up and drop off were unsupervised and no assistance was given hooking up the trailer or going over any safety points. Overall, I was extremely unsatisfied with every aspect of this rental except the trailer itself. The trailer was in perfect working condition, other than many tie down points (this was a car hauler) were rusted and bent. The straps were fine and I was able to utilize the trailer for my purposes.
truck was not where it was supposed to be originally, dolly was not in the truck and i was not told-i found out AS I WAS MOVING-door was not even closed, they were not prepared, I had to wait around 30 minutes for them to get their computer going, did not get any info or paperwork or sign anything at all, was given the key and pushed off, horrible experience
The company was personnel were nice. Unfortunately the tires were not fully inflated to normal 80 psi upon pick up. I could drive the truck but I had difficulty finding a place to check and fully inflate the tires.
The guy working the counter tried to not give me the furniture dolly because he was using it for a machine in his store. Also, he had me put on the level 1 inspection sticker without going out to look at the truck. I wouldn't pick up there, again.
I was charged for an extra day when I only had my uhaul for the allotted two days
