There was a disconnect between the online check-in system and the actual acquisition of the truck. Although the online reservation claimed that I would be able to pick the truck up whenever, I still had to enter the location and obtain the physical key. I used the online system to get a pick up time outside the regular hours of the location, but when I got there, the employee responsible for loaning me the U-Haul wasn’t present. As a result, the employee who was present had to call the U-Haul employee on a landline phone. Eventually the U-Haul was acquired, but it took some time, patience, and it was not a seamless experience.

I was on the phone with your help line for over an hour trying to unlock the lock on the back of the truck to get to the key out. Heather was very helpful, but the lock on the back of the truck was very difficult to open. Had to return back to the store to have the assistant in the store call her manager to come help get the truck unlocked. All together it took me around an hour and twenty minutes to get going.
Teresa CThis was a very bad experience. I ordered online a large truck. I got a tinny truck. I ordered a dolly. None available. I asked for help moving. I had none of those things. Worst experience ever.

eugene wWell after about 15 min and only two miles I realized I didn’t have the help to move my mother, so I brought the truck back, and told owner what happened and he said I drove it off the lot. Still charged full price. Not very good customer service
