When arrived your computer system was so mested up that was in wrong persons name, asked 3 times is my name this, that and spelling told him twice. My reservations was cimpleted online many times no issues. Took over an hour to get my truck that was eating up my time and return time. The drop off was correct they called but the pick up location said 3 times it changed and kept telling him it did not. It was returned as planned and this was nothing but a hasle in munster location.John W.
The facility is nearly always closed, has no assistance, and you are completely on your own to do anything. Returning this truck was ridiculous. Your 800 number hung up on me several times and when I called at 3:30pm to change my return location to Munster Stor All (as the employee at the renting dealer in Schererville told me to do), your call center employee told me that the truck was returned and that all I had to do was drop my keys in the box. I confirmed that I was to drop my keys in the box now and he said yes. So I did. 4 hours later, my truck still showed as active. I drove back to the facility and manually returned my truck through the link in the e-mail as it now showed Munster Stor All as the return facility. Earlier it still showed Schererville. Though without the keys, I could not take a picture of the odometer. I knew we had only done 36 miles, so I input the contract miles plus 36 as the correct return mileage. I then had to just submit a picture of the truck since I had no keys. Terrible return process and service, and I will never rent a truck from UHaul again. I fought to talk to someone for longer then I actually used the truck!James H.

The online check in process is unforgiving if you make a mistake or miss a box - you have to start the process all over. Wait time is understandable given Covid19. The staff person at the location was not pleasant - got a lecture. More importantly, she was not wearing a mask. I was - you may not have input over these independent locations. However, given current CDC guidelines, proper protocol is important whether you agree with them or not. Sorry. Just being honest. I have to recommend the location because the premises were really clean as was the van. Service over the phone was very nice.Sara G.

With the $29 insurance cost, it was too expensive. 65 miles instead of 50, because we missed an exit. $126 too expensive for a quick jaunt from Munster, Indiana to Chicago and back. Great service, however. But this should have been under $100. Won't ever purchase insurance again.Crista Z.
I specifically requested a cargo van and went thru the process to rent it. Then it would not start. It was a brand new van and the battery was dead. I had to then switch over to a ten foot truck. I was not happy about having to drive that to my location. I had reserved The cargo van a Month well in advance. Did not have time to drive to another location. To get another cargo van.Joy W.

We had asked for a dozen pads and they only had 6 pads and I had some damage in the move. The clerk was nice and they had the equipment but we were charged for the dozen pads they didn't have.Mary D.
The only issue is I was unable to use the mobile app to pick up the truck. When I tried it said that the GPS showed I was at the wrong location. I had to go inside and have the person working assist me. I was at the right place. Had they been closed I would not have been able to get the truck.Kimberly W.

We were charged more that what the bill says in our actual bank account by .81 I don't understand this. Also, the bed of the truck was dirty and should have been swept. I swept it before putting out things in it.Joseph S.
Seemed rude and bothered that I did the order on my phone. Made a big deal about having the van and that if they weren't open I wouldn't have been able to pick it up. I live less than a mile away. I saw online there was a van close so I booked it and walked over. I was still a paying customer and just felt I was a â€œburdenâ€ by doing it the way I did.Jeff P.
