Took longer to obtain the truck with a reservation in hand than it took to load it and move the items to our storage unit. Then had to return again afterwards as they had not been able to process the payment and that took another hour! Really, really poor. On top of that the truck smelled of cigarettes with a hint of vomitt. Won't ever use UHaul again. This should not be this difficult just to rent a truck. Avis, Hetz, National all have this figured out, why doesn't UHaul?

This was the worst experience ever. The man that rented us the truck did not show my wife on how to start the vehicle. We were suppose to go and but a camper and were suppose to be there by a certain time. My wife had to come home and get me to go back out and help start the truck. And I have to say that it took me about 10 min. to figure it out. Never seen an ignition like that before. All he had to do is take 2 min. to show her and then leave to go home. Another words he should have done his job. So needless to say by the time we got there to purchase camper it was already sold. And then I get charged right at $140 for the rental that I never got to use for the purpose I rented it for. When. I go up to the rental place the guy says he watched my wife drive away with the truck. I told him he was lying and he told me to leave. I called him out on it and all he could do was back pedal some crap to me. So I contacted corporate office and was given a ref. # and told somebody call me back in 24 to 72 hours.I never got the call but I may have missed it. So I call back and they give me certain time they will have someone call me back and that never happens. So I call back and they give me a number to a Stiven Rivera cell phone. I call him and he tells me he is going to talk to the owner of the rental place and call me back. Does he ever call me back. NO HE NEVER CALLS ME BACK. I call him back and he does not answer his cell phone so I leave a message and tell him to please contact me between a certain time. I give a few hours of time just in case he is busy at a certain time. And what do I get no call back. This is suppose to be somebody to take care of this. This is the sorriest thing ever. I would not recommend my worst enemy to UHAUL. This is not the way to treat a customer all the way around. Not only does the rental place Tryon Mini Storage suck by not doing their job and trying to lie on my wife but evidently the corporate office is the same way by not following up with there customer and not doing anything about one of their affiliates doing what they have done. I hope this survey gets back to someone that gives a crap about there customers. But I wont hold my breath. But if they do and straighten this out I will comment back later.

Everything was great. The employees worked with us when we had to extend the return date .
The merchant was flagged by my bank for previous fraudulent activity so I was delayed in getting my truck & got on the road a day late. Then the truck had issues & further delayed my trip because it wouldn't go over 65mph. Then it finally broke down & I was stranded on the road causing further delays & I was not able to start my job on time. Then after being told that I wouldn't be charged anything further I was causing overdraft charges to my account & it still has not been resolved so the charge is still there & I am unable to use my bank account! I have called several times & still it has not been resolved! Listen to the customer & handle issues properly.
Nothing! Great job! My husband and I needed to make a trip to help our daughter move to an apartment 4 hours away. The truck was clean, maintenance not an issue, rode good, and was easy to use.
Super knowledgeable and friendly staff, great customer service, modern vehicles, no trouble whatsoever. Would DEFINITELY use this location again. Keep up the great work!
Let me people know when they make the reservations online that they need to complete the pick up information before they arrive to pick up the rental. it took us 45 minutes to get approval and all necessary items completed. Time and money lost.
The mileage jumped more than what was driven after it went over one mile.

I was sent to a different pick up than where the reservation was made. It took more than 3 extra hours of my time to pick up. I had people waiting to load the truck who had taken time off work to help me. I was charged twice to rent the truck and trailer and did not get a refund. The drop off location refunded a $20 fee that should not have been charged.
When I inquired about renting the truck, I was informed that the cost would be approximately $130. Since that sounded reasonable, I rented it. When I returned the truck, I was told that I would receive an email with the total. No email was received. When I recently received my Visa bill, I was stunned to see I had been charged $224.64, almost $100 more than had been quoted! I am outraged! I would have opted for another means to move the items had this number been quoted originally. I consider this unethical and unprofessional of U-Haul.

Employee did not know anything about online rentals. Answered the phone multiple time and stopped in the middle of helping me to talk to another employee about a different matter. This was supposed to be a in and out pickup, that's why I did it online. I was in store atleast 30 minutes
Let people know in advance about taking pictures of driver's license, the inside of the rental, etc.
