The initial rental process was fine, but after I rented the equipment for a one-way out of town rental I had a last minute change of plans due to family matter. The truck was out for approx 5 hours and had only been driven 20 miles. I asked if I could return it and pay the full daily rate instead of the one-way cost since there was a significant difference. They told me there was nothing they could do since I already rented it. I told them the UHaul national customer service referred me back to the local rental location and they could assist me with modifying the charges, but the local office wasn't interested in helping. I suppose since they had the payment their obligation to any customer service wasn't necessary. I would not rent at this location again.

We rented a box truck from Landa park location online. After an uhaul update, we needed to pick up the box truck from another location off of hwy 46 in New Braunfels, not an issue. But when we had arrived to pick this unit up, No one was present inside of the office,not an issue, understand being short staff. Once the gentleman came into the office. He had made us aware that the appliance dolley was a mistake in the computer system and he did not have one onsite, inventory was incorrect in the system. He suggested that we needed to drive over to landa park location and rent one- so instead of taking care of us, the customer, when we were standing right in front of him. His fix to the whole problem was to go get one oversleves ams just take it off our invoice. Not even a phone call to Landa park to tell them, please hold one because there is a customer headed you way. After we arrived at landa park location. The manager that was covering the whole landa park location by himself, again short staff, was very helpful and friendly (Felix) He was able to answer my concerns about the box truck rental. Because the fuel tank was only 1/2 tank and there was body damage from front to rear of this truck, I also explained to the landa park manager that when we picked up the box truck about 15 mins ago, the gentleman who had helped us, did not even do a walk around to check anything on the truck, nothing. With all that being said, we got everything moved like we were supposed too, the truck and dolley have been returned to both of their locations. But if you could please look into a better customer relationship, people are usually not in a good mood because they're moving and spending money to begin with. And maybe if you have a rental pick up, you could do inventory checks before the party arrives so everything is not a surprise or downfall that the customer experience first hand. The customer really depends on companies like Uhaul to take care of their moving needs. Remember the customer is the one that usually pays the price when things are not planned or managed correctly. Make uhaul great again!!!

This visit was great, the employees were respectful and eager to help. I had a previous appointment but never left with the trailer because the line was too long. There was only one person there and he was overwhelmed but still very patient and courteous to the customers in front of me, he kindly acknowledged me too and said he would be with my shortly but I just didn't have 30min to kill waiting in line. I waited 15-20min but there were still 3-4 people in front of me. I rescheduled my appointment to pick up the items I needed.

I should have checked the drop off location closer when I got my contract. I was making a move to Richmond, TX and when I went to drop off the truck the address on the contract said Richardson, TX. This resulted in in phone calls and confusion on where to drop off the truck. It was a hassle but in the end it all worked out.

To begin with, the associate who was supposed to be at the front desk was no where to be found. I had to wander around the parking lot to find someone to assist me in picking up my rental. After about 15 minutes of waiting for someone I was helped my William. He wouldn’t even look me in the eye while prepping my vehicle, he mumbled every time he spoke to the point where I was hardly able to understand what he was saying and I was treated as if I was an inconvenience to him. The vehicle and the process online were excellent, but the customer service at this location was unacceptable. I will say that the gentlemen who assisted me in returning the vehicle, whose name I did not get, was very respectable and cared about getting me taken care of and on my way. William on the other hand was frankly rude and I would not return to this location specifically because of the was I was treated by him.

Employees were nice, equipment was well maintained. Location was hard to get into, very small. Also the rental price of a U-Haul is outrageous, honestly I probably won’t ever rent one again.
