Punctuality! Our pick up time was 2p. We arrived 20mins earlier and the Uhaul rep was not there. He arrived appropriately 230p. What upset us was that we asked his coworker to call and locate him and we over heard him say it’s not 2p yet and then he was late and blame traffic. As a professional he should have been there before us. Also, he did not inform us that not all drop off locations are 24hrs so, we had to go to 3 different locations to drop off. Moving is naturally stressful. Giving us that little bit of information could have made it a little less.

This is the worst experience so far with Uhaul. I have been a customer for several years and I thought it was regular business as usual but NOPE. I reserved the truck for 4 hours, got to the location on time, only to be asked to provide a reference to call before taking the truck. I have never been asked this even when i used Uhaul back in August for a move. Then Tony (In charge of the location) says I'll give you additional 1 hour to return the truck, be here at 5pm. I returned the truck at 4.54pm, dropped off the key and left. Only to be charged $101.68 with DOR on receipt as the next day. I called customer service line and the nasty lady called Karen kept saying 'honey you were only charged for a day' like who is your honey?? And how is been charged for a whole day equals to less than 5hours?The last Uhaul I rented in August was for 6 hours and I paid $62 n change. I couldn't get what i needed the truck for, done because of the little time stipulation and I'm paying this damn much. I advise you look properly into how much their total cost is before doing business, its shady!!!

Preordered equipment was missing and i wasn't notified until i came to pick up the truck. Dealer continued to charge me for the equipment . Currently trying to receive a refund. Damage report was not taken.

This location is awesome, i got a confirmation call prior to pick up, pick up was fast as was drop off and i did an after hour drop off. The owner conversed with us for a bit and explained everything in detail. Definitely my go to location moving forward

Tony's Service Center is a deceptive location, does not actually represent the U-Hall we used to know. It is untrustworthy. It takes advantage of customers whenever it can. This U-Hall location is a rip-off, overcharges customers whenever it can. Too many crooked manipulations, secretly designed to steal the customer's hard earned money. The level of quality, and service expected from U-Haul has been degraded. The presented image is no longer what U-haul used to be. It's now a sham service. The equipment are still superb, and ok. I was overcharged. I rented the truck 9:45 AM, drove only 18 miles, and due to lots of traffic delays, came back 6:00 pm, and office was closed. Brought truck back 8:30 the following morning. I still believe that it is still within the fram work of one day. I did not have the truck for more than one day. Please adjust the charges and credit my credit card back. On the other hand, why and what are these hidden extra charges? Environmental Fee, NJ Domestic Security Fee, and also EZ fuel Sales: 2 gal,. I brought the truck with fuel-guage level on F. Are the extra charges approved by the State of New Jersey? Shouldn't the charges have been communicated to the customer before truck rental. Please adjust your charges and refund immediately. Incredible service. Above and beyond. I was running late because I misread my pick-up location and he waited beyond closing time for me. On returning the vehicle (on Sunday, before Labor day weekend) the centre was closed as advertised, but Tony was passing by and opened up so I could wait inside while my cab came to pick me up. Really super service, and such a great guy.
