Lower the prices
I think it is extreme to take pictures of one's ID for a trailer rental. It's understood for a truck but, a trailer...I don't feel comfortable with a picture of my front & back of my identification & not know who's handling it or where this info goes or if it is deleted upon rental return. The associate didn't know the answer to this. I will not rent again due to this for a trailer. I will go to home depot/lowes etc. where that is not a requirement.

They were closing right as I pulled in. The attendant was so nice and checked me in really quickly before he left, which was very much appreciated after a long few days of moving and a 1000 mile drive. 100% perfect service. Thank you.

We got charged for 140 miles when all we did was 60 and that's because we didn't see text because we were busy moving. We told the front desk that we were moving locally, which we did and yet they charged us for 140miles.. With covid and it being new years eve, it's sad that they did that to us.

Where do I begin? I don't think it was Newnans fault. Funny how on this review it doesn't ask about Uhaul. The actual Uhaul cooperation. I called them multiple times. I think my issue is with them. But not knowing is also part of the frustrationâ€” are you talking to a local company are you talking to a corporate office? You never know. First off- we reserved our trucks about two weeks in advance. One truck abs one trailer to be specific. ONE DAY before pickup they left a message saying they had to be picked up at two locations bc they weren't available at one. We drove an HOUR to pick up the truck. Even though it was supposed to be a uhaul thirty minutes away. We had problems at that pickup location from the start . I couldn't access the link to check in or to even retrieve the truck. Luckily I got ahold of the owner and he was nice enough to help. We took the truck even though we didn't have a code. Apparently that shouldn't have happened. I am grateful for that though bc I didn't want to drive an hour again. Also- I should note the there were plenty of trucks and trailers in his lot. He said they were available. We went to second location to get truck. Called and called to let them know we were running late from the nights debacles. No answer. Couldn't access the link. Couldn't get ahold of uhaul. Nothing. We got there and again- a lot FULL of trucks and trailers. Why uhaul can't get their stuff together enough to know that we could've rented the truck and trailer from ONE location ... is beyond me. We got there and were told the system was down. The entire uhaul system. Ok, fair enough. The manager there was very nice but said he couldn't let us take the trailer AND we shouldn't have even gotten the truck. He tells us we have to come BACK tomorrow. We spent three hours getting only one of our things. Frustration doesn't even begin to describe. We went back the next morning and I was able to get the trailer from the second location without a hitch. The equipment worked great. I called uhaul to tell Them about all these issues and to get some money back bc we didn't get out trailer on the correct day. I was lectured by the lady with the â€œcustomer serviceâ€ department (who should be fired... she has zero customer service abilities) that it wasn't uhauls fault that the system was down. I get that. But it CERTAINLY isn't the customers fault and no customer should be made to feel that way. She told me to call back with my complaint with rental was through. When I went to return my equipment at the Coeur D Alene location, the wrong storage unit had been reserved and it was on the third level. That shoos definitely be communicated. Getting in and out of their unit would've been such a hassle and so time consuming we left and went to another storage unit facility. All this to say... it's still my responsibility to call and get refunded?? No. I'm exhausted. I'm done with uhaul. I have zero energy to do that.
