There was hardly any gas in the tank. We dropped it off with more gas than it had originally and were not given credit for it. The lock on the back did not work, so we had to use our own lock. tires were bald.

The manager Chris was extremely helpful, especially on such a tough day of weather. He helped shovel snow to clear a way for me to rent that day and was very understanding when I let him know I was delayed in getting the van back because of the slowed traffic and icy roads. Will recommend this location to anyone needing a van.

Make full disclosure of location pick up for equipment: I am not happy with the lack of information provided on the pickup location. I went in a Lyft car to the site I had phoned only to learn after circling the area multiple times (UHAUL sign was barely visible) that my pickup location was different. This took 4 calls because response the was automated. Finally, the customer service person who took my order responded saying she was surprised no one informed me of the pick up location 5 minutes away (she did not and no one called to inform me despite the appointment I made at 8:30 am for an 11:00 am pickup). This was an expensive venture for me as I had hired a car.

The only problem I had was I got all the way home n they forgot to give me the key to the lock on the back of the truck n I had to drive back up there to get it n drive back home n start my packing later thani had plan because of the inconveniences.

Rental was reserved on my debit card. I instructed the lady who initially completed reservation and transaction that I wanted to use cash as payment when I returned the rental. I took a picture of miles and gas before leaving lot. The tank was a little past half when I left and exactly on half when I returned, yet I was charged $12 instead of the $4 to replace the gallon. The guy disregarded my concern. I proceeded to make cash payment and gather my receipt and was met at the front door. I was told it would take 3-5 business days to return funds back onto my card. The lady who gave me keys to rental was there and aware of my preference to pay in cash.

Wash the inside of the windshield. The owner really couldn't have done a much better job. We realized that we needed a larger truck and he immediately advised us of the extra cost and that one as available. He did an excellent job telling me about the gears and what to do when it was empty. He made sure we had the supplies that we needed but wasn't pushy for us to get unnecessary items. He made sure I knew how to avoid common errors with the latch and encouraged me in my driving adventure which aid ahead.

was disappointed in the overall process. called and evidently got the call center. made a reservation to pickup and drop off at the greenbrier location. then as we are arriving, we get a call saying that truck has been rented and they didn’t know. the monticello facility was very inconvenient and out of they way of where we needed to drop off the items, however arrangements had been made to get it done. it also cost me a lot more in milage and gas. getting back to monticello was also a nightmare and we sat in traffic for almost an hour because of an event at either the scope or waterside
