Well. For starters you could review with your staff the literal meaning of the word "reservation". When one makes a reservation its inherently agreed upon that whatever is reserved has been set aside for me. For example, I "reserved" the money needed to make the reservation for my Uhaul rental as to pay for it when I needed the truck. I didn't simply just tell the customer service agent that I had the money at a different location to be paid at a different time and they should just go find it themselves. Nah. I gave it to you... to make the reservation. Your staff's fundamental lack of understanding cost me over $200 while the movers I hired stood around during the two hours it took for my fiance and I to track down a truck.

There were several of us in line around 2:10 or 2:15 pm. My reservation was at 2. There was only one person working at the rental counter. It took about 20 minutes before I was finally helped. I had reserved a van, but this particular location didn't have one. So apparently it defaulted to a location in Chesapeake. I hadn't read the reservation carefully, because I never have to. I've reserved a van from this location several times in the last, and didn't have an issue. This time, I felt as though the service was sub par, and no apology was given to anyone for the long wait. That would have gone a long way with me.

They charged me for the wrong truck in addition to the truck I rented. They were rude when I called to ask about the error and were stating that I gave them keys that did not match the keys and truck number on my paperwork. They also tried to tell me I had a truck number that did not match what I drove and rented. I need this fixed as I made sure to drive below the estimated miles when I rented it. I drove less miles than i had estimated.

I recently used the mobile checkout. However, I rented the dolley, but the dolley was not actually in the back of the truck when I picked it up, and i couldnt figure out how to mention that when I was doing the check in process. Also, I had a timeframe to move all my stuff in, so I had to keep moving.

The truck needs to go into a shop it shakes and feels like its pulling I returned it before I finished moving and had to pay for another truck the next day

Pulled in to drop off sign and was asked to back trailer to desired spot (Tight). After dropped off, I asked if I was to get a contract saying trailer was returned. I was told only if I paid cash, that I was good. I called the following night and spoke to Lisa (who called the center in Norfolk. I was giving a statement stating that the trailer was returned the day after I had returned it. I wondered if the trailer was used for personal use or given to a friend for the day after I had returned it.

I was very disappointed by the service I received from Christopher Barnard who was very rude and disrespectful upon my arrival and paying for my rental before I took it off the lot. He also could not find the keys to my rental for almost 10 minutes holding me up from my prior arrangements. Christopher Willis gave bad customer service not only with the way he conducted himself but also from his body hygiene. His body odor was very offensive and I would not think U-Haul would have someone with such poor hygiene being a General Manager and running one of their stores. The only great help I received was from the two ladies that were in the store upon my return with my U-Haul and they gave me exceptional service. They are the ones who should be running the store.

We did a key drop off on the same day and the record shows that the truck was returned the following day which to me is inaccurate. According to the manager at Manassas, I should have received a final receipt after the drop-off which I never received.

The customer service rep gave me an entirely different quote than the store gave me. It was twice the amount.. now my husband and I have no money for food for the next two weeks.
