Having to drive a half hour each way to pick up our 26 foot truck was not helpful. Especially when the truck I rented only got 5 miles per gallon. Then you had me pick up our second piece of equipment (a car tow dolly) at a different location, different time, on the same day. That was a lot of running around on our moving day.

Its not a uhaul store its at the apartment complex took me a little while to find. Circled it a few times. Needs own building. The lady at the desk was very helpful. Our ball was too big she knew right where to go and called to make sure we got everything figured out. Very clean office to.

Office for rentals was hard to find back in apartment complex. Employee did not seem well trained on computer interface and took a long time to get the rental agreement completed despite a reservation with all the information being done in advance online. Trailer was clean and in good condition, but electrical connector was extremely short and even the 12" extension we had wasn't long enough to connect the trailer. The employee was no help on where we could get another extension and sure did not have any we could rent/buy/use (not even sure they knew what we were talking about).

Properly train new staff. I felt bad for Linda because she was "thrown to the fire" without proper training.. And it would be wrong if Anita wasnt disiplined for her lack on professionalism in handling this situation. I find it hard to fault the new employee and rather place the blame with upper management for not properly training and guiding the new employees. However, I fear that Linda will receive the blunt of the blame because Anita appears to be a smooth talker and has yet to respond to three calls I have made to address the problem with her. I WILL not do further business with this location or any uhaul location for that matter.



A little better direction of where to park the trucks and drop off box for keys/contracts. Had it not been for a renter of the apartment complex I would have never found the key drop box.



The company should be morr flexible on allowing the return of extended rental items ie.. utility dollies tp any uhual locstion. I understand the imventory issue at independent locatins change must be made to allow of return of said items to any uhaul dropoff location. Yoir company is large enough tp provide flexibility for this service.

The office is all the way on a completely different road in an apartment complex and there is no sign by the uhauls stating that. Also it doesn't open until 10:30 am who in their right mind want to wait half the day to get their uhaul and still pay almost 200$ for it. Also when I called I was never told about insurance so when I went to pick up my uhaul I ended up paying even more because if even a scratch got on your vehicle I'd pay over 100$ for almost anything. I will never rent a uhaul ever again. Also I got a 26 footer for my 1 bedroom apartment and /still had barely enough room for everything and my house is small and that uhaul was for a 3-4 bedroom house. Never ever again will I got through Uhaul ever again

Issues with rental overall: 1. I was sent an email at 5:00 pm the night before pickup that the truck I had reserved a month prior was not in our town but in North Baltimore, Ohio, 12 miles away. Did not see email until I got to the original pickup location and they did not have the truck. Went home, saw the email and turned around to get the truck in North Baltimore. This delayed me by approx. 1 hour during which time I was paying the two loaders to sit outside my home in their pickup. 2. After renting the truck and trailer, I traveled approximately 1/4 mile from the North Baltimore location when the TRAILER CAME OFF THE HITCH. The young lady who mounted the hitch to the truck's ball came IMMEDIATELY after I called her from the street. She was very apologetic. I was 100 yards from the I-75 on-ramp I was going to take. Fortunately the trailer came off when I was going 10 mph vs 50! 3. North Baltimore location did not have the previously reserved pads and dolly. I had to go to a third Uhaul location to get these. 4. On the plus side, the truck was nearly new. 5. The young lady working at the North Baltimore location was very nice and did the best she could.

Wasn't very clear where to drop the truck off at. Drop box was at apartment complex but other uhauls were at storage units.

Remove the snow from the lot. I spent over an hour digging ice and snow away from the trailer, then after hooking up, my truck got stuck in the mess.



Ensure that the gas tank is properly filled and that gauges work correctly. In my situation, While the tank looked like it was 3/4 full, after sixty miles it had dropped to just under half. Knowing I had sixty miles left to go, I filled it up, expecting to return it with the required 3/4 of a tank. The gauge dropped by 1/16 of a tank during the second half of my trip. For a company who is quick to charge extravagant fees for just about everything to also rip you off on gas is distasteful.
