The website directed me to this location and would not allow me to make the reservation at a location that was much closer, even though the website indicated the truck I wanted was available. Not sure why. Since you charge for mileage, it’s frustrating to not be able to get a truck that would have saved me that mileage.

The cab had melted candy on the passenger side floor. The cargo area had trash in it. I had to clean it before using it. The windshield was severely cracked and should not have been in service. Overall, not a great experience.
ANDREW WYou can begin by supplying the customer with ALL of the equipment they have paid for. I am concerned about the charges on this bill and I believe they need to be rectified. While it is true that I ordered the dolly, the dolly was never supplied and in fact I was told they did not have one, but was told I could go pick one up at another location. However, I had to put mileage on the truck to go pick up a dolly that I ordered but was not supplied with, only to find out when I arrived at the location, not only was I informed they did not have a dolly ( even though I noted I just saw them take it off of the truck), but I was also treated very rudely by the assistant and told "I don't know what to tell you, we don't have one" and that that dolly was for another customer, even though I had already paid for the dolly and tried to show them my paperwork. This type of treatment of your customers is not what I would call a successful way to treat your customers. I have a medical condition (heart condition) that necessitated my needing the dolly, yet I was forced to load all of this without the dolly, thereby taking a chance of something happening that could have jeopardized my health. I certainly hope that your company is going to rectify this situation immediately and adjust my bill accordingly. Not only is my being billed for equipment I never received and being charged for mileage I should not have had to put on the truck trying to locate the dolly I paid for but did not receive uncalled for, but the rude treatment of me by your associate is cause for my never using your company again. Furthermore, I feel the need to let the approximately 40,000 college students I am in contact with that this incident occurred and plan to suggest if this is the treatment they will receive, they should look elsewhere for their moving needs. I am utterly appalled by this.
Albert LRental process was a pain. My location kept getting changed. My pickup location changed to a place that didn’t open until 8 even though my reservation was for 7:30. Nothing was communicated to me about U-Haul share so I had to call customer service and it took a while to set up in the app. Pickup and drop off overall was a bit time consuming. Make it easier for customers to submit info ahead of time. Also they were missing some of the equipment I rented.
