I marked "Not applicable" to the question "Was the location clean and inviting?" I would rather leave this response blank but your questionnaire makes this a forced-response question. The real answer is that yes/no/not applicable are insufficient choices to answer the question. It was clean for the San Fernando Valley, which is to say it was dirty. There's no way around that--it was as clean as a place at that location can be.

Employee's were extremely helpful and friendly since this was my first rental! They exceeded my expectations with amazing customer service. I wish I remembered their names to credit them individually, but overall a great experience.

This location closes at 5pm on Sunday. I had the U-Haul ready to take back on time but then the door got stuck in the open position. I was never able to get it closed. When I went to drop off the U-Haul, I was there after 5 and there was no place for me to drop it off. I called and looked on my contract to find a place and never could because it was not in my contact and service said I would have to contact the store manger. I will now likely be charged extra due to the faulty door. U-Haul is supposed to make my move easier, in this case it made it harder. I'm very unhappy.

This experience was 100x better than my last experience with uhaul. Representative on the phone was VERY friendly and helpful, finding me the truck I needed within a mile of my location. Staff at the location were also very friendly and courteous. 5 star service!!!

I had originally made a 15 foot and auto trailer reservation at the brand location but received a confirmation text from this location regarding a 17 foot van. When we called to clear up the reservation we were told by one representative the reservation was for the correct truck but a dolly auto trailer, then another rep said this location will have both the truck and auto trailer. The day we go in to get the equipment we are told that none of the equipment we reserved was available. We were even bumped up to a 17 foot truck but that wasn't even there, and, they only had a dolly auto trailer. We were told the dolly was waiting for us because the closest auto trailer available was too far, no notice just an automatic change that we got to learn about before a 550+ mile drive. None of this is occurring quickly and we are finally told a 20 foot truck is waiting for us at a Burbank location another 20 minutes from my home. The Burbank location actually had the 20 foot truck. Really poor experienc here and very unhappy that none of the employees made no attempt to notify us. I guess it's okay for people to clock in and not do any work. Oh and we eventually had to make a 40 minute drive to get an auto trailer from north Hollywood. Save money and time by reserving with budget trucks. That's what I plan on doing for our next move if we need to

I went to three locations and one of them didn't open until 10 but they booked me for an 8 am pick up. It was so disastrous. The problem with this particular location is there aren't enough people to help when things get backed up. I had a reservation that they screwed up so it wasn't my fault and there was a walk in in front of me and they didn't even ask if anyone had a reservation. What's the point in making a reservation if it doesn't help things move any faster? The guy was nice but the GM was there and tried to day he didn't work there while wearing a Uhaul shirt and said he'd TRY to help me. He didn't know what he was doing! Are you the GM?! You should know how to do everything! I rented the truck for the $19.95 they advertised and in my estimate of going 60 miles my total was $75 but when I returned having gone 127 miles all of the sudden I owed $116 and didn't know why because the GM didn't explain anything to me. Not sure how he got his position but needs to be retrained and be reminded that the customer comes first especially when the whole morning was a disaster. I hope to never end up at this place ever again. There was a representative on the phone that really helped me out but I can't remember her name but she was quick, friendly and got me to a close location. I was still late to my appointment and put in a complaint because I don't think I should have to pay for this.

The gas wasn't where they said it was, they initialed, and I was charged on my return anyways. It was also the 4th location that I was changed to in a 48 hour period. I was forced to Uber due to the changes

The truck I reserved was NOT available, and I am owed the $50. I waited another hour, took the van, and it was filthy. The store employees failed to put the dolly into the van, and I was forced to return to the store to get the dolly. Very rude to me. The van was filthy. The back of the van was totally filthy. There was a flood of water inside the cab and the cab was filthy. Nasty, snotty, incompetent workers. Where's my $50!

I've been on the phone for the last 2 days with a total of 11 uhaul employees. If you check the notes on this reservation you will see that the battery on the truck died and as a result, getting in touch with uhaul, getting roadside service and resolved we were delayed by 6 hours. I was paying 2 guys $40 per hour not to mention the delayed start and delivery to my clients. I have repeatedly ask for a credit - I now see that I was charged full price. No one has followed up, this is terrible customer service and on top of it- this is the second time I have had issues with a truck not starting- and I was stranded and charged full price last time as well. It's very disappointing
