The guy was nice, but I reserved at a different location; this location was way out of my way - added over an hour to my day getting truck and getting back, not to mention gas. He said it was common for U-Haul to shift the reservation to "where the truck it". What's the point of reserving at a particular location? Thought the point was to ensure there would be the vehicle you reserved, at the location you specified. Truck was very dirty - ashtray full and all sorts of trash, and back of truck wasn't swept; we cleaned before returning - over 10 aluminum cans in cab. No pads as ordered, so movers banged up my furniture. I'd left some older blankets out for padding; they ended up using my good comforters, too. Could have been avoided if I'd received the dozen pads ordered. At least the charge was removed from my bill - but still, I ordered the pads for a reason - to protect my furniture.

We were supposed to pick up in LR on 65th. The truck was not there. We were really just upset that we were not contacted before we got there that the truck was not going to be available. The manager of the location on 65th was completely polite and found us a truck on Ashley. The guy at 1 stop storage was great but we were supposed to get an appliance dolly and a dozen furniture pad. He didn't have anything but the truck so he sent us to the location on commerce drive in maumelle. That guy was also polite but he only had the appliance dolly so he sent us to the location on counts massie in NLR to get the furniture pads. The guy at that location was also polite and he got us the furniture pads we needed. Everyone was very helpful and polite. It was just frustrating to have to go to 4 different locations in the middle of us trying to move. But thank you to all of these locations for the wonderful service and for helping us in our move. It all turned out wonderful.

My original request for a 26' truck to be picked up at a different location. When I received the follow up call, i was told no 26' trucks were available, i would get a 20' truck and need to retrieve in N. Little Rock. Upon arrival at 1 Stop Storage, apparently the cc system was down and after waiting an hour, i had to call my cc company to give the necessary manual authorization. The dispatcher tried his best, but apparently UHaul is having some system issues that need to be addressed with your service providers.

At 9:30 a.m., the doors were locked, there was no place to park the truck, and no one was around. I tried honking the horn and everything I could do, but finally had to leave the truck parked awkwardly in the driveway.

When we arrived to pick up our uhaul it was not at the location we requested and we were not notified of the change - the second location was 15-20 miles out of the way. Very frustrating to say the least. We also experienced a blow out on a tire while driving.

All the over attention turned to complete breakdown on the return portion!!! The location closest to us on Counts Massie in North Little Rock appeared to be deserted and when my husband and son-in-law finally found another location, they dropped it off. 2 days later, I find out that U-Haul thinks we still have their truck! As of this time, I don't think it's resolved yet as I have received an email saying we owe more money!! You've got to be kidding!! How would you folks like to come to the hospital where I work and get this kind of customer service!!! Of course you wouldn't & I bet you would threaten to sue! You seriously need to improve the customer service and be more efficient. Surely your vehicles have trackers in them if your folks can't get them checked in accurately! We had the truck less than 12 hours and drove directly from Jonesboro to North Little Rock just as we said. I am profoundly disappointed in U-Haul. Our previous experiences years before were much better. After this experience, we have already decided to hire movers and steer clear of U-Haul!! Have ramps on EVERY truck. I didnt notice until I got ready to use it. I had to drive 20mi to get the truck. A cust shouldn't be charged for the extra driving for a one day local use. It ended up costing over $100 for a very local move. I'll probably explore other options next time. $19.95 plus gas and miles would have been much better but I was clearly stuck in a jam.....

I reserved a 17 ft truck a week in advance and the rep said that there wouldn't no problem getting that size truck their on the pickup date. The day before at the last min the rep found out that he could not get a truck their and I had to settle for a 10 instead because the rep didn't know that a truck from another location could not be transferred to his location. This rep needs more training so he can give the right information to his Uhaul customers. Next time I will find a place that has the right size on site.

The service was great and they went out of their way to make sure that I did not get overcharged. I will definitley use them again. Maybe also remind people to put gas in the tank before they return it...and possibly inform them that 15-20 gallons is all that is necessary. I will refer them to friends/family.

The Office was not open as was supposed to be and when it was opened 30 minutes late after the lawn care people finally got him awake all he could do was tell us what a bad day he was having. I will never rent from this location again!

While Drew was extremely helpful and exceptionally personable and wonderful to deal with, the location of the business is somewhat hidden and difficult to find. Unfortunately, I turned back onto the highway and missed the access road which took me 16 miles out of the way before I could turn around and head back to his location. it would be extremely helpful if there were visual clues as to where to turn to find the 1 Stop storage location since it is down a winding off road area. However, we were thankful that we did see it in passing on the highway so were able to find it once we came back to the Morgan/Maumelle exit. Thanks Drew for all your help! You are an asset to U-haul in making moving experience better than I imagined.
