That location representative was extremely rude. The truck had safety issue where ice was frozen on the windshield where it was not visible when I told the location representative.. he said use it or fuck off. His behavior was extremely rude like he didn’t even care about U-Haul customers. He said I don’t care you call U-Haul whatever the problem is don’t tell me anything when I asked for another truck like he said no take this one or get your own car.

I returned the truck with slightly more fuel than when picked it up – 6 extra miles of range, according to the gauge on the dash – but they charged me $33.10 for fuel plus $30 for having to refuel plus tax. Lucky for me I took before and after photos, so I was able to phone U-Haul and have that erroneous charge reversed, but it never should have happened in the first place. I cannot recommend this location. They're either sloppy or dishonest.
Henry KI would like to raise concerns regarding both the service at pickup and the safety conditions at return. At pickup in Toronto, I requested a moving blanket but was told it was cancelled without updating me as they don’t have it. I did not request Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), yet it was added to my final bill without my authorization. While asking basic questions about the return process, the representative repeatedly responded with “I don’t know” and directed me to call a number, without providing minimum assistance. The more serious issue occurred at return. I was instructed be the rep at the location to park in the original pickup spot, which was occupied upon my return. Uhaul Customer service number then advised me to park anywhere on the premises; however, all available spaces were covered in snow and ice and had not been cleared at all. I have full video documentation. I spent 35–45 minutes attempting to park safely, but conditions were extremely slippery and hazardous, creating real risk of vehicle damage or personal injury. This reflects unauthorized charges, poor customer service, and a significant safety concern due to lack of winter maintenance. I request review of this location’s practices and correction of the unauthorized CDW charge.
