This was a convenient drop off location. I did not speak with any personnel, so I am not sure if they are helpful or not, but I checked yes. They had A LOT of trucks, so if you need to pick up I think they would have the size you are looking for. I dropped the truck off at night and the return was easy, the app walks you through the steps for taking photos and the key drop was easily located.

It's winter in Minnesota now, and I picked up the truck the day after a fairly significant snowfall. I was unable to open the latch on the back of the truck to access the key as the lock had iced over. So I went inside to ask to borrow a hammer to break the latch loose and the desk agent who was helping me seemed a little unwilling to try to locate a hammer for my use. She did eventually locate one, but it was more stressful for me than it should have been. Then I was definitely disappointed to learn there were no windshield ice scrapers available, either in the truck or inside the rental office. You can buy one at about any hardware store for $5. And I would have driven to go buy one myself but there was such a thick layer of ice it was unsafe to drive the truck until the defroster had time to work, which would have taken many minutes. So I sacrificed a credit card I rarely use and cleaned the windshield adequately myself. Eventually everything did work out and the day went fine. The truck worked as needed and we were able to complete our move that day. But there were some very basic things that the rental location could have prepared for much better.
SHANE SReserved a truck for pickup, no one was there and the site was closed. Eventually changed to mobile pickup, but caused much more stress than needed.
John AMy problem is not with the rental locations as much as U-Haul in General. There was definitely not enough miles given considering I had to drive 12 miles to pick up the vehicle and obviously back to that location so I started out 24 miles in the hole and then the mileage did not take into account the drive from outing to the drop off location, which was again another 24 miles. I think you guys need to look at your maps a little bit better and more realistically. You upped my bill by an additional 8%, which was not cool.
