The absolute worse UHaul experience ever! I sent an email detailing my ordeal. It was awful. From waiting an hour to be checked in to being told to hook up my own rented trailer, it was awful! I called in to tell them I was running late and the man could not speak or understand English. That call also took forever.

They rented me a truck that was damaged and did not do a walk through with me. When I opened the back of the truck, it was flooded with water. The location attempted to charge me for damaging the truck when I took it back and told them there was damage to it. Worse customer service ever.

The entire rental experience was pleasant and trouble-free. My only “complaint” would be that I rented the truck from 6 pm on Thursday night (9-6-2018) through Saturday evening (9-8-2018) but we returned the truck around 5pm on Friday night (9-7-2018). I had hoped we would receive a partial refund for the 24 hours we didn’t use the truck. It was available for rental to another customer during the 24 hours we had already paid for. I will, in the future, take that into consideration before renting again from Uhaul.

Again, not the original place we were told to drop off. Had to go out of our way even though this was a advanced registration. This whole experience was terrible. I'm so disappointed.

I was turned away at my original drop off location (Crossroads Texaco Highway 69 N Northport, AL) and made several phone calls to Uhaul for alternate drop off locations. After it was all said and done, the trailer drop off was refused at 3 locations before I ended up at CMart. I dove all over town in 5:00 traffic way out of my way to finally get the help I received at CMart. This was my 4th rental of a Uhaul Truck and/or Trailer in the past month. The last time I rented a trailer, I was turned away at Crossroads Texaco (HWY 69N Northport, AL) also. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND DO NOT USE CROSSROADS TEXACO FOR UHAUL RENTALS. On the other hand, the people at CMART were extremely helpful.

The first location(on Skyland Dr. in Tuscaloosa) we took the trailer to was not "accepting" any more trailers. That is ridiculous. It was very inconvenient to find a location that was taking trailers. If the U-haul cooperation was super busy, it is your job to find a solution and not put it on the customer.

This was not the original drop off location. the other location refused to take the trailer and sent us to C Mart. Not happy with having to travel to another side of town to drop off and not happy with the wait time at 1800gouhaul, over 20mins

Educate the people in paper work. They don’t have a clue. Had to call traffic myself to get everything straight. Matter of fact I ended of paying the your traffic person rather than the personnel at c- Mart. It took 2 hours to rent one trailer. What a disaster!!!!!

I reserved a 4x8foot trailer 6 weeks before the pick-up. The pick-up location was changed the day before (to another location in the Tuscaloosa, AL area). The trailer was very old and not in good working order. This item should be retired. We were surprised that it made the 500 mile trip to St. Louis, MO. Personnel was NOT helpful when the S-rings did not fit with the trailer hitch holes on our vehicle. Spent about 2 hours extra going to the different location and to multiple auto/hardware stores to find a solution to the S-ring/holes probem.

Even though the battery on my truck would not crank yesterday and then would not crank today it put me late bringing the truck back and I was still charged a late fee and my total was over 60.00 for another days charge which was not fair at all and I’m very dissatisfied with this charge! I’m disabled and was really price gouged!

This was a horrible experience. The transaction was put in the system incorrrectly and I was over charged. The girl did not know what she was doing. She called the IT department and supposedly corrected the mistake two times. When I returned the vehicle, there was a different person working the counter and they didn’t know how to fix the mistake. Neither employee knew how to work the system.

The Chevron only had one attendant who was forced to stop helping me so she would help people who were there for gas. If U-Haul doesn't already have a policy requiring their locations to have more than one employee on staff always, they should. Not only was annoying to be ignored so the attendant could maintain her primary business, she also had to leave her store completely unattended for several minutes at a time to go check on the vehicle. Fortunately, she wasn't robbed.
