Have someone that knows what they are doing. Spent 45 minutes trying to rent a small truck, she had to call someone for help 2 times and uhaul customer service 2 times and still couldn't do it. A man came in and took over to finish it. If he hadn't helped when he did I would have left. It will be posted on social media to stay away from this place.

The site in NorthPort is a gas station where the attendant also manages the UHauls. From the minute I stepped into the store she had an attitude as though she did not want to deal with it. Despite the fact that I had a reservation to drop off at this site, she immediately told me that they could not take it because they had too many already and that I would need to take it to another location about 8.5 miles away, in rush hour traffic. After insisting that I wanted to leave it at this site she finally asked her partner, who also immediately questioned why I had to leave it there but begrudgingly proceeded to make room for it and assisted in unhooking the trailer. Customer service was poor, at best. Definitely would not use this location again.

The manager messed up my pick up and drop off location. Wich caused some head ache. U haul called me and asked why wasn't the u haul dropped back off in which I did.

I reserved a 6x12 trailer for the main Skyland Blvd location. I wanted to pick it up there because they actually HELP you and hook up the trailer for you. I was told I had to pick it up at a Chevron station in Northport. I ever went by the Skyland location a day early and asked if they could transfer the trailer to their location and was told that was not possible. When I went over to rent the trailer - there was ONE attendant at the gas station who spoke/understood very poor English. He had to attempt to help my while selling cigarettes, beer, and gas to people who were coming into the stations. I had to use his computer to fill out the rental application - so I basically rented the trailer to myself and this process took forever. Then I had to go hook it up by myself with no help. I don't understand how you people stay in business. I've never had a great experience renting from Uhaul - sadly you are the only option.

I reserved a truck from a different location. In the last minute Uhaul changed pick up location. Upon arrival, truck was not available until 11:45 AM. Pick up was suppose to be a 10:00... I do not blame this location. I blame Uhaul unprofessional and pathetic way of doing business

The store was ill prepared to handle the rental. The sales clerk could not speak passable English,and I had a 45 minute delay until the store owner was able to come in. The trailer was dirty on the inside. I was sent here after I had rented the trailer 1 MONTH AGO at a regular U-Haul location in Tuscaloosa I have used before. When I called the U-Haul 800 number, I got sent around to multiple sites and said they could not help. It was a terrible experience and will do my best to never use your company again

Never make a customer drive from one location to another (especially when the other location is the original location the customer chose for pick up and was booted out by the uhaul system due to unavailable equipment) to pick up items that she had already paid for online. Never allow the customer to sign up for a 7am pick up if the location doesn't open until 8am. Online check in and payment is useless if the customer still has to do it in store. All of these issue caused me to begin my move over 2 hours after scheduled time. This was a nuisance on top of frustration because I had a limited time from to move out of one apartment and into another due to business hours at the complexes. My experience with UHaul was completely unacceptable.

Was told the person that handles the Uhaul was "out". Almost impossible to get someone to verify my return of the trailer and 24 blankets. The person who finally checked us in spent most of her time outside chatting with a man. She refused to sign my sheet stating I was returning every think. No help provided in disconnecting the trailer. This Chevron station in Northport is more interested in selling quick mart food and gas than in servicing U Haul customer. I could not use the drop site I usually use because I would have been charged a fee for dropping at an unauthorized location. Steer clear of this place. I would have been better off paying the drop fee. Extremely bad representation of U Haul.

The woman at the chevron in Northport was very knowledgeable and friendly! She gave me quick and expert service and even helped me secure the trailer onto my hitch. She deserves a raise! Thanks U-haul

I arrived at 2pm as scheduled... cashier could not help / would not help and called someone and handed me the phone. The person on the other end of the line told me she was eating and could not help. I ended up calling UHaul and checking myself in. No assistance in hooking up or checking the lights as is usually done when I rent any type of trailer. Absolutely no assistance at this location. The tag was expired on the trailer.
