Fuel level was not where it was supposed to be. Attendant did not walk us to the van for a walk around of the vehicle or any operating instruction. As I was doing my own walk around he left and waved as he drove by. Right after he left I got in the cab and noticed the mileage and fuel level was wrong but the attendant was already gone so i was unable to address the problem. This caused me to incur a $51 unnecessary fuel charge.

Used mobile check in. Pointless as nobody actually reserved my equipment. Had to go inside and give all of my information AGAIN! The truck was almost out of gas, the back was a muddy mess! Took 45 mins to clean it out, so I wouldn't ruin my property!! They tried to cheat on the miles by writing down 150 miles less than what was actually showing. Even if I didn't move it they had me for that many miles. Luckily I checked that part before driving away or they would've gotten for over $145.00. So much for the guarantee. Morning was add I reserved. They acted like or was my fault! If you're NOT going to actually use the mobile check in... Why offer it? Put me several hours behind schedule. I reserved the truck for 10 hours. They made it 8 hours. Not pleased at all with the entire process! I'll use a different company when I finish moving in May. Burn me once, shame on you. Burn me twice, shame on me! Wont be a second time! What happened to Uhaul? Use to be very professional. Times change!

I order a 15 foot and payed for it got the truck after returning it found out I got a 10 footer . But thought I payed to much and I left way more gas in it than it was when I got it . Order out of Beckley West Virginia. The man at Oak Hill was very helpful.

I made my reservation 10 days before I needed it. A 17' truck and 1 Appliance Dollie. I ended up having to go with a 20' truck which was way more than I needed, and cost more in fuel cost. The dealer did not have any dollies what so ever. Granted I didn't get charged for the Dollie, but I'm disabled and my husband needed it so he could load our appliances. So without it he couldn't load them by himself. Therefore we had to hire help! The rental of the dollie would have been$10.00... the help we had to pay for ended up costing us $50.00!!! UHAUL was informed of this issue when one of their Representatives called me in the middle of us loading the truck to ask if I could have the truck back early the next day. SERIOUSLY???!!! I worked years ago for a UHAUL dealer and we would have had to have done SOMETHING to rectify this kind of situation. And in all the times through the years that I have been a UHAUL customer I have only had a bad experience one other time, and they made everything right and made sure I was satisfied. UHAUL is seriously slipping on customer service. I might look into renting from Penske for my next move. By the way... Since 2015 I have used UHAUL 5 times (2 One Ways & 3 Locals) I know that they can look back and verify this as the truth.

My reservation somehow got split into two separate reservations with the driver I added as the person that made the reservation. The price I was quoted online did not match the price I was charged at this location. I spoke to 3 people to attempt to straighten this out and it was never clear as to why this occurred. I will never use UHAUL again. Both times in the last 3 years I have used it, there were issues with my reservation.
