Easy location for dropping off and great customer service. The 26' truck I rented had Low Oil light on when picked up but was topped off by the helpful associate. Regardless of speed, truck handled terribly whenever encountering any variation in the road. Maybe it needs new shocks? It was like a bucking bronco and I feared for my safety and belongings.

There was a warning to check the tire service system. I would've liked to receive a vehicle without warnings or a notice from the dealer that I am checkout out a vehicle with a warning. The vehicle also smelled unpleasant at the time of pick up. And my app never allowed me to sign in, and the online pickup did not work.

Make sure that the customer doesn't need anything else like a dolly, moving pads, ect. I thought I had reserved extra pads and a dolly but apparently not. Dolly would have definitely helped, but I should have checked that as well. Office representative was awesome! Quick and efficient. Thank you.

staff member was rude, truck had damage that wasn't marked with an "X" which the staff member refused to document. My reservation included a dolly and furniture pads but I was charged using a separate transaction.

Two main issues: 1) I reserved the vehicle at Alameda (Sherman Street). The woman working there was very rude when informing me the vehicle was not in Alameda, but rather Oakland. Very rude. I won't do business with U-haul again because of her. 2) The Oakland location was generally okay, and the woman working there was helpful and nice, but after taking an Uber to the location at 1pm on a Saturday, I arrived to find the location closed, because it was lunch hour. Unpleasant.

I was a regular at this location until last night. First there was the woman has been rude to me since I was using a VIP that was issued to me because of an incident involving the store. This time she made it a point of saying I didn't have anymore credits and was going to have to pay for this truck very aggressively. This morning when I got my invoice I also noticed they changed me 15 dollars for a clean up fee which didn't make sense because the truck was in the same shape that I picked it up in. I am currently reviewing all of my orders from the last month and it seems that sense I started using the VIP certificate issued to me this place has been unnecessarily micro-charging me.

I hate Uhaul you called the cops on me and my online reservation was confirmed for 24 hours. My rental was never late/stole

I received a call to return the uhaul earlier than my reservation was for (the night before instead of by 9:30am the next day). They said I would get a $50 gift card, and I ended up staying up until 3:30am to get it back (as gas stations were closed, etc). I never received a gift card. I never received any follow-up communication other than this survey.

I had to come to this location after the self-help reservation failed at 640 W Macarthur location. I received no instructions that I needed to log on the night before to reserve my truck, so when I showed up there at 8am, I had no truck. The website gave me a 24-hour # to call, but that went straight to voicemail and I never received a call back. Luckily, the 947 Grand location had extra trucks, but they also opened 45 min late when I showed up at 8am...there was no one there until 8:45am.

They did not have the truck that we reserved we had to take a smaller one (that smelled like pot) and we ended up paying our movers extra time to make two trips with the smaller truck Such a frustrating experience with poor customer service Wouldn’t adjust cost Weren’t sympathetic etc
