AS BEST WE COULD TELL, WE WERE OVERCHARGED! GRUMPY frustrated-sounding overworked clerk in a liquor store attended to several customers who were known to the cleark buying liquor as my husband and I waited and waited and waited and ... Both my husband and I are small elderly-looking "White" people -- evidently "White" people are a novelty in the neighbourhood around White Horse Liquors When GRUMPY got around to dealing with renting this UHaul, he spoke veeeery quietly in the noisy store -- GRUMPY spoke far more quietly to us than he had spoken to known customers -- and GRUMPY INSISTED it was my problem that I could not hear what he was saying!!! It was easy to clean the windshield -- I've rented from UHaul before, so I knew to bring a wand and a rag to clean the inside of the windshield. Typically, we rent UHaul at 1241 6th St, Berkeley, CA 94710 -- MUCH NICER STAFF at 6th Street!!! — but, this time, UHaul on 6th Street location didn't have a little box truck when we needed it.

The guy was pretty rude, I ordered a 10 ft and he wouldn’t let me drive it, said I had to drive the 15 ft. When I got in, it was barely over 1/2 a tank and then I was asked to pay more money for a truck I didn’t order after it took him 20 minutes to put in all my info and then I had to pay for gas even though I only drove a total of 16 miles because the person be for me didn’t fill up the tank. Horrible experience I was very annoyed with the man at the location and his help with the process.

The 15 ft u haul I got originally, he said it was broken, and I was like okay... how are we gonna fix this then because it says available and I paid for it. He was being rude and not trying to help just saying not my problem just call the support number, blah blah. Had a bad attitude and doesn't speak english well either
