SCAMMERS. They changed the odometer to kilometers to overcharge people. We realized we were being overcharged and then realized the odometer was set to kilometers. When we tried to address the issue assuming it was an honest they got extremely defensive and nearly started a physical altercation. When we started recording the interaction they threatened us and said they would call the cops for us recording. we were forced to call customer service to return the vehicle which wasted over an hour of our time. This seems to be a pattern looking at other reviews. They are very dishonest.

Did not get my dolly
Wei LThis was the worst Uhaul location I have ever rented from. I would never recommend anyone ever use this location. The person behind the counter was rude and unhelpful. He signed a document that I believe I was supposed to sign and never gave me a contract of the rental.
Sean SAS BEST WE COULD TELL, WE WERE OVERCHARGED! GRUMPY frustrated-sounding overworked clerk in a liquor store attended to several customers who were known to the cleark buying liquor as my husband and I waited and waited and waited and ... Both my husband and I are small elderly-looking "White" people -- evidently "White" people are a novelty in the neighbourhood around White Horse Liquors When GRUMPY got around to dealing with renting this UHaul, he spoke veeeery quietly in the noisy store -- GRUMPY spoke far more quietly to us than he had spoken to known customers -- and GRUMPY INSISTED it was my problem that I could not hear what he was saying!!! It was easy to clean the windshield -- I've rented from UHaul before, so I knew to bring a wand and a rag to clean the inside of the windshield. Typically, we rent UHaul at 1241 6th St, Berkeley, CA 94710 -- MUCH NICER STAFF at 6th Street!!! — but, this time, UHaul on 6th Street location didn't have a little box truck when we needed it.
Nicholas WThe guy was pretty rude, I ordered a 10 ft and he wouldn’t let me drive it, said I had to drive the 15 ft. When I got in, it was barely over 1/2 a tank and then I was asked to pay more money for a truck I didn’t order after it took him 20 minutes to put in all my info and then I had to pay for gas even though I only drove a total of 16 miles because the person be for me didn’t fill up the tank. Horrible experience I was very annoyed with the man at the location and his help with the process.
