I did the automated experience which wasn't terribly automated. The location is crowded, hard to even find parking and then the mobile app pointed me to a van that was blocked in by another van, so I had to go in to have them move it. The key was at the counter anyway, so I'm not sure how much time the automated options really even helped. Additionally, I ordered 6 furniture pads which were not provided. I noticed this once it was too late to correct it, but I did note to the guy who checked it out when I returned the vehicle (because he was looking for the pads). I told him they were never given to me. They still charged me! Just a messy, disorganized location (KCK center is much better), and they will charge you whether they provide you what you asked for or not.

For trailer rental, it would be helpful when reserving online, to have the hook up and check out available outside with the employees having handheld computers to accomodate. Going inside to let them know you are there, go outside to get the trailer hooked up, going back inside to get the contract means you need to wait in very long lines each time. They employees are awesome, but this process it awkward and takes a LONG time.

Had reservation for a 26ft truck just 20 blocks just down the road. I am disabled and had 6 people coming the next day to move me. I was called THE EVENING BEFORE and told the closest one was in Missouri almost 15 miles from my house because the truck I was supposed to get didn't get their SHIT uploaded in a timely manner. It was like pulling teeth to even get someone to look in a location closer to me. Then all of a sudden the had one in Olathe.... I didn't have a problem with this specific U Haul location.... What I have a problem with us CUSTOMER SERVICE! When a truck has been reserved, you have a confirmation number, and a representative tells you IT WILL BE THERE, Then I expect just that... NO LESS! I witnessed at least 3 people ahead of me when I got to puck mine up having problems, with added fees, Quotes over the phone was WAY OFF according to what I was overhearing..... If you don't have a Particular truck that it supposed to be there.. YOU NEED TO PROVIDE THE TRUCK TO THAT DESTINATION..... NOT TELLING THE RENTER THAT THEY HAVE TO GO GET THEIR OWN....

Vehicle was old. It did run good just would liked a newer vehicle like my previous last week vehicle I rented from your company. All in all I have to say I have been renting from this location and it is great with customer service checking in and out. Even was friendly with my dog that I brought with me. Thank you Uhaul.

As soon as I pulled up into the lot, the guy came up to me with a hand held device and completed the return in 2 min. He emailed me the final receipt and were on my way. Very pleasant and quick!

The customer service on the pickup day was excellent and very helpful!!! However on my actual moving day (a couple of days later), I found the interior of the cargo compartment of the truck was flooded.. It was difficult and time-consuming to get a replacement truck.

The lot is very busy, there is no room for customer parking and the signs marking "return" route lead you to a dead-end blocked by additional trailers. You have to fill out the same paperwork you've already completed online AND provide 3 phone numbers. It's 2019, no one has a landline anymore and some of us work from our cell numbers. That's a silly mandatory field.

Your truck return via online needs drastic improvement. It was very frustrating. I tried to call customer service for help with my return at 7pm. I was on hold (ignore) for 53 minutes. I finally hung up and called the store the following morning to make sure they processed my return. The location was great and accommodating.... The customer service not so much.
