The day I signed up for my storage unit, the person entered the wrong code and when I tried to go after hours, I worked with the central office and they would not release the code to me. I sat on the phone with them for 45 minutes until they released it. I had to pay movers an extra hour because of the delay. When I told the office about this, there was no apology or compensation offered. On three visits there was either a truck, trailer or personal vehicle blocking my unit. On one occasion, there was a foot of snow and they only plowed the lane opposite my unit. I have photos I can show of the trailer blocking my unit plus a foot of snow I had to get around to move my belongings. There has never been an apology nor an offer of compensation for my hardship. I have Parkinson’s and so being able to get into my unit easily was important to me. U-Haul did not honor that.

Also, the guy at the desk wrote down the wrong security code in the computer compared to what he wrote on my paper and I lost an hour sitting at the gate trying to work with Customer Service. I was paying three guys $20 an hour to sit there and do nothing While I sat on the phone for an hour trying to get that figured out. I was in a really bad mood last night!
