How about don't lie to customers. We were renting a uhaul and the guy I talked to said he had one and what card I wanted to put down I said I'll have my grandma call and she did. But she called me back and said they needed a credit card to hold it so I called back and got a girl and she said just need a credit card to verify and your info and card gets taken out of the system after we enter it it's for reservations only bland I said so my grandma can come in and put it on her card tomorrow she said yes no problem. So we get there get the uhaul all setup and the guy goes it needs to come back at a quarter of a tank when it comes back makes me sign stuff and says your all set. My grandma said well I was paying for it and the girl said I could when I got here and he said there's a card on file. I said the girl said it wouldn't save my card in the system. He said well she can come in and pay on Monday nothing will be taken off this card and she can do it Monday. So we agreed. We left not 20 minutes later they charged my card 53.90. I was mad. So anyways we used the uhaul and I timed my trip with GPS and mile tracker and the route I took back and fourth took me to 37 miles and he charged me for 45 miles then I brought it back on a quarter of a tank and he charged me for gas 7.23 cents and the truck wasn't in the same place I parked it so they must have moved it. If it was my senario I think they went and drove the truck to get some extra miles and he told me it had more than a quarter of a tank when I left which was complete bs. even the kid said it was on abquarter of a tank bring it back at a quarter. And me and my grandma both heard it and confirmed it all I even wrote the milage down before I left and when I parked it. These guys are slick. First time I've ever been treated with unprofessionals in a uhaul company. Terrible

service the vehicle so the check engine light is not on, the abs light is not on, and the low tire pressure light is not on making the customer feel that they are driving a unsafe vehicle which is how i felt and upon returning it i was told oh yea they can not fix that, if that is the case then dont rent the unit.

Picked the truck up on Monday 9/11 at 5 pm and returned it 9/11 at 9 pm - put the keys in the drop box just like they told me to. UHaul called me on 9/12 at 1 pm saying they couldn't get ahold of Hull's to verify it was returned. On 9/13 I get notified they charged me for 2 days (double) the rental fee. Guy on the phone was rude, accused me of lying, said they were there all day on 9/12, and there's no way I could have returned it that night. This location is dishonest and disrespectful - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I created a U-Haul account, pre-paid for my vehicle and equipment, and my pickup was supposed to go smoothly and quickly. My pickup date was confirmed by a text message. However, when I arrived at Hull's, a lawn and garden equipment store, there was only one young man there to handle both store and U-Haul customers. He was not trained to use U-Haul software. We had to get U-Haul customer service on the phone and I had to provide personal financial information in front of a store full of impatient lawnmower customers. The truck I ordered was unavailable and I had to take the next larger size. When I got to the apartment I was moving, the hand cart I ordered was not in the truck. I had to go back to the store to get it. I do not fault the young man at the counter. He was doing the best he could with a store full of customers. He needed help! The entire check out took fifteen minutes, which isn't bad if I had just walked in off the street, but is horrible considering it was supposed to take a few minutes. Then add the time, mileage and gas to pick up the hand cart and it was an unpleasant experience.
