Carrie SAlthough I ordered the pickup to be at the Rome, NY uhaul at 10AM on July 27, and I received confirmation for that location, when I arrived at 10am on the 27th at the Rome, NY uhaul, they did not have my truck there. They were able to determine it had been dropped off at the Oneida, NY location rather than in rome. This location is an additional 24 miles there and back. When we got there the service was odd. There were two of us to be drivers. They took my license information but said they didn't need the license information for the second driver, that anyone with a license could rive the truck. I said I was uncomfortable with that and was informed they had no way of putting his information into the system. That sounded like BS to me. In the event of an accident I'm pretty sure it would matter to the insurance company. So it cost me 24 miles and about an extra hours pay for loading crew kicking their heals waiting for the truck.
