You need more than one customer service rep at the front desk, especially on a Saturday. I had to wait 40 minutes to check in with a reservation as there were 6 people in front of me and the Same was true when I returned the vehicle . I felt bad for the gentleman behind the desk as he was clearly overwhelmed.

This was the third location we went ot to return the trailer. The first didn't want it, the second was closed (on a Friday no less), and then we when here. Very frustrating. Overall U-Haul takes good care of the equipment, but reservations seem difficult, and some locations unreliable.

No chance of me using your service ever again. I drove 31 miles,put 5 gallons of gas in and your staff says I need to pay additional fees as the gauge is not up to the proper level. Who was the idiot who read the last level.I trusted you and did not check the level noted. No chance of that happening again.Your driver's side wiper blade sucks and needs to be replaced.How about a response to this.

Why don't you ask more questions outside of the location? The guys at this location were great. I was really not happy about the pricing. First quote online says 100, second I get charged 160 at the register, third I drop it off with 30 miles LESS than estimated and get charged 195 from the app. I would recommend this location for u haul because the people there were great. I would not recommend u haul anymore in general seeing how they try to suck you in with a bait and switch price 3 times. I will be moving next month and will be sure to find another service that is more transparent. Thanks, Tom

I would not recommend U-Haul in general (nothing specific to this location, but the overall experience and the location of the original reservation Danbury, CT). I was given a run around to get a truck, wasted 3 hours of a packed / already stressful day.

It was one of the worst experience of incompetence. First... I had a hitch installed on my Ford Escape Three weeks before our move to Florida for the purpose of towing my 2nd car a Nissan Versa on a tow dollie the one you drive the two front wheels up on. On the morning of the move we drove our two cars to U-Haul of Bridgeport Ct,From Stratford Ct, only to find out that the trailer wasn’t there in Bridgeport. Bridgeport told us we needed to drive to Orange Ct, 15 miles x two cars. After a long wait we hooked up the trailer only to find out the light wiring was incorrectly installed from the installation in Bridgeport They told us they couldn’t fixed it in Orang Ct, and had to return the Car back to Bridgeport Ct, to fix the light hook up.It took approximately two hours to repair it ..Then we had to drive the two cars back to Orange Ct, 15 mills x two cars. One of their employees tried to help us mount the Nissan on to the trailer but was totally clueless on how to do so. In total it took 5 hours of our time not to mention the stress. Meanwhile during all of this I was paying two men to load our truck with our furniture which need my supervision at a cost of over a100 dollars of time waiting for me ..Due to the total incompetence of U-Haul employees I had to delay our move to Florida by one day. On a upon of arrival in Kissimmee Fl ..The nightmare continues. I come to find out the Towbar was incorrect. it was to low and shouldn’t have never been allowed to travel according to the employee in Florida. It needed to be 16 inches off the ground it was only eight and cause damage to the undercarriage of the Nissan......A big Thanks to Stelson employee number 1222228. He took pictures of the damage and reported it to the District manager. Place was fine. Only problem was the POS system froze twice, the truck I had reserved wasn’t available only to be upgraded... only to find the keys were missing so I had to downgrade forcing me to make an extra trip that I had to pay for in gas. Aside from the experience being a total nightmare, it was swell.
