I went to pick up the truck in the rain, and when I arrived, the key was not where it was supposed to be. I called customer service, and although they were polite, the solutions they offered were very poor. They told me I had to wait outside in the rain for someone to arrive with the keys and that it would probably take about 15 minutes. After waiting for 20 minutes with no one showing up, I simply called back and canceled the reservation. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. I believe other rental companies are much more reliable and professional when it comes to handling situations like this.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkNo one at the counter knew what to do, called one guy to come by, he also didn’t know what to do & ended up talking to their boss/representative? Was 45 minutes behind schedule because of this. Never again.
Jose LLocation is not a real u haul and needed 1h just to get the key. Then I was unable to return bc of odometer reading that was mot there. Software that scans driving license doesn’t work well also. Too much stress for no reason. Keeping a person at a location solves all.
Miodrag Ithe location was easy the problem was uhaul and the U-Haul app. when I first booked this truck uhaul did not warn me or prompt me that this location was self service only. This lead to a series of problems for pick up and drop off making my moving day much more stressful. The U-Haul app is extremely confusing and was not user friendly. The people I spoke with at uhaul were competent and very helpful to resolve issues however there were long wait times, and being shuffled around. this experience was stressful and will re thank using uhaul in the future because of it
Colin FThe location and manager were great, but the check in process took 30 minutes because the approval process (i wasn’t warned about), all the photos took forever to take, and the app didn’t give me a code for the key and the manager had to find it and get me the key.
