STEPHEN POne of my staff went to this location to pick up the truck I rented for the day. He related how well he was treated by the counter person for the location, and they had even pulled the truck up to the office for his convenience. He said this had never occurred before, and he has been to a dozen U-Haul locations through the years. He actually asked me to try and rent from this location as much as we could when needing a truck in the future.

DANIEL RBilly at the Orland Park location off Southwest Highway truly went above and beyond for me and my family. From start to finish, he was professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure our needs were met. His customer service alone made this location phenomenal, and he is a true asset to the team. The staff overall created a welcoming, efficient, and positive experience. The rental truck itself appeared very new and was extremely clean inside and out, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, shortly after beginning our trip, we experienced significant mechanical issues. The ABS warning light and Advanced Trac warning light came on, which required us to contact roadside assistance. The mechanic who came out was very kind and knowledgeable, and we were grateful for his help; however, this left my family and me stalled at a truck stop for several hours. After being assured the issue was resolved, we continued our trip, but about an hour later the truck began to frequently decelerate on its own and delivered a very rough ride. The best way to describe it was a constant jerking sensation, similar to driving with a flat tire. We remained in communication with roadside assistance throughout, prioritizing safety, but ultimately lost an entire day of travel and incurred additional out-of-pocket expenses as a result. We are currently awaiting U-Haul’s resolution regarding these issues. While the truck experience was extremely frustrating, I want to strongly emphasize that Billy’s exceptional service and professionalism, along with the overall quality of the Orland Park location, were outstanding and deserve recognition.
