First Trailer was missing a wheel bearing cover, and trailer wiring cord. I was given another trailer no problem however i supplied my own trailer lighting wiring.

I park the truck, the clerk goes into the truck to confirm miliage comes back in the store and then proceeds to tell me to go back into the truck to pick up a wrapper on the floor of the truck AFTER she herself was just in the truck....unbelievable ! My deepest apologies for leaving a wrapper in the truck wouldn't want you to hurt yourself removing the wrapper.

I will never rent again the whole experience was dreadful the only time I got any kind of customer service is when uhaul had no other choice but to find a new truck as we were there waiting for it. From the day befor waiting on the phone for 45 min to getting to the puck up and getting into the truck than finding that it had been vandalized (certainly no ones fault) to driving to yet another location totally out of our way. Just bad communication all around.

took the 89 dollar 150km package, but didn't use all the kms. Should be adjusted if under 100km. I only used 85km at which it would have cost me around 20 dollars to rent then 40 dollars for the kms... so around 80 dollars. I was charge a 25 dollar cleaning fee, yet there was just a bit of mud on the rug... I could see if I brought it back completely filthy, but it wasn't ... I don't think the 25 dollar charge plus taxes for this was required. Anyhow, I'll be careful what I sign next time.... always feel like I'm getting ripped off when I rent from uhaul... so, next time I'll use other places...

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the location.. The place where I picked up the vehicle were excellent, very friendly and excellent service. as a matter of fact there was nothing wrong with any of the locations I dealt with I think you are putting your customer service focus in the wrong direction. The process to rent a truck from your company is beyond poor... I rented a truck online almost two weeks prior. I contacted the location I wanted to pick it up from, prior to booking, who told me they had an available spot at 3pm on Sept 30. I booked it online. Contacted the location again, and they told me the system would provide the booking confirmation but not to worry as he had the 17' available at the time I requested. I received a confirmation email from Uhaul within 24 hours and thought everything was great. I then contacted Uhaul, to make sure the email I received was a confirmation. They told me it was and that I was confirmed for 3pm (for 17 hours) at 5-2006 Robertson Rd in Nepean, for a 17' truck (9 km away from the moving location). I contacted the location again, who confirmed I was in their system for 3pm. I contacted family and friends and had them all rearrange their schedules so they could be there to help. This included approximately 7 people who scheduled time out of their busy day to do me a favour. The day prior to picking up the truck, I received another email confirmation for a 17' truck at 4836 Bank St for 8am (43 km away from moving location). I called Uhaul, confused, thinking they booked me two, and they said my original reservation was never booked. I told them that wasn't true and that I had my confirmation email. She then put me through to network. Network tried to tell me the original location I booked with, was booked until Monday morning with the Saturday morning reservation. I told them this was not true and that if the morning reservation wanted to extend their time, they should have had to rebook since I was already in the system for 3. My view: You should never bump another confirmation, expecting that person to deal with it.... I not only had to pay gas and mileage for an extra 24 km, I had to paid for 8 hours but was only allotted 7hr 45min, and on top of all that, I had to contact 7 different people to see if they could rearrange their schedules to be there for 7 instead of 3. A number of them couldn't so then I had to scramble to find others who could help. There was no conpensation for inconvenience and stress your company caused and not even an apology. They just kept trying to cover their tracks, with excuses that I knew could not be true because I had everything confirmed verbally. I have never been so disappointed and frustrated with a company's service. I have never had such poor service from a company overall... and I have never, in my life, felt the need to fill in a survey... until now..
