How U-Haul Reviews Workthis is a large U-Haul facility coupled with a storage facility. There is no one at the facility to help with disconnecting the trailer or repositioning it where they want it stored. I had to use self-check-in which was a major disappointment. I expected the facility to help disconnect their safety cables which are very short, very stiff and they have large spring loaded hooks that were VERY difficult to disconnect from my BMW X5. It took about 10 minutes lying on my back under the vehicle to get those oversized hooks to unhook. Self-checking likely saves U-Haul a lot of money on personnel, BUT it is really BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
