I wish I could give this location a negative 5 star rating. This location closes at 7:00 PM on Saturdays. I made a reservation for a truck this past Saturday, October 21, 2017. I took an Uber to this location and arrived at 6:50. All lights were on and two Uhaul associates were inside. I tried opening the door but it was locked. It was a glass door. I could clearly see the sales associates and they could see me. A black male who appeared to be in his early to mid twenties mouthed the words, "we're closed." I pointed to my watch to indicate it wasn't seven and said I had a truck to pick up. Both sales associates, the other a white male, also around the same age, attempted to ignore me. The black male had to come out and take a reading from their propane tank. Obviously, they hadn't even shut down yet. I asked if he was really going to just ignore me and not give me the keys to the truck I rented? He proceeded to do just that. Because I'd taken an Uber there, I now had to take an Uber to another location and start the truck rental process all over again. I have never experienced such directly rude and all together horrible customer service in my entire life.

Price match. Penske was .70/mile. I thought when I ordered online it was .90/mile. When I checked out it was .99. Maybe I'm daft. Surprised there was not a joint inspection of the truck prior to my taking possession. Usually both parties inspect together so there would be not disputes (Penske does this). It was 7am so maybe it was too early. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I would like to let you know that I was forced to use this location which was approx 30 minutes further away from where I made my reservation from. The U-Haul store on Missouri Rd in Clearwater, FL, cancelled my reservation and never informed me until I arrived at 7pm Friday to pick up my 26' rental. Manager had no logical reason for the cancellation and I would never do business with this store in any manner. I would also suggest others not use this facility if this is how a manger responds. I asked if they would pick up the truck and I would come back in the morning...nope. Sorry I was on my own. Despite that the Palm Harbor people were very professional and courteous. Only positive comments for them.

I was told I would have a cadillac waiting when I dropped my car off. On a saturday. Instead there were 2 SUV 'S gas hogs. The Enterprise employee said if Icould just drive the Chevy Tahoe til Monday l, they would get me the cadillac I was promised. On Monday morning I called the location in Tarpon Springs FL and told a female employee that I an 5 foot tall abd canot drive that Tahoe she told me she would locate the cadillac that day. I never got a return call back. I called again and got a different employee and he wanted me to drive all the way up there only to give me another SUV. I was told by Frank to bring the SUV back empty because it was a gas hog and i did and now they have charged me 45.22 for gas i an still waiting for my refund. I am filing a complaint with Geico as about Enterprise Car Rental poor customer service and scammimg their customers. This is the 2nd time in a year and a half that I have had a bad experience with Enterprise I rate,you terrible in satisfaction

The ashtray in the truck was full of cigarette butts and ashes. As a non smoker my young children and I I should not have to smell that the entire time I have the truck. But its not the actual location that I would not recommend, its U-Haul because of policies and pricing. examples: 1) I cannot believe U-Haul charges for the rental, gas used and then 99 cents per mile starting at the 1st mile. 2) The gas tank upon rental was 3/4 full. When I returned it I filled the tank up to fiull. I was still charged for 4 extra miles that were over the mileage I estimated when checking out. There is not a policy that would wave the 4 extra miles although I "donated" an extra $10 in gas. for those reasons I will look elsewhere next time I need a truck.

If someone is ordering a truck online in another state, the website should mention that the customer should bring a verification of their insurance in order to avoid having to spend the extra money for uhaul' insurance.

More instruction on proper use of the dolly would have been good. Was told by Uhaul originally that they had to secure my car to the dolly. When we picked up the dolly I was told that I was responsible for strapping the car to the dolly. The car never fell off but I had to remount the car after I discovered the straps had come off the wheels when we stopped for the night. OK after that.
