The staff looks like they don't want to be there. I was charged a clean up fee. I wouldn't mind the fee if someone explained it to me before i rented the truck.

The cashier was fine and was dealing with a particularly difficult customer, but I waited for ONE HOUR with only one person in front of me just to get my reservation. They also forgot the dolly on my order so my move ended up being twice as difficult as it should have been.

Worst experience ever. Starting with reservation was switched to a different location without my knowledge. A text and only a text was sent. So when I arrived in Newark to get my rental was told to go to Passaic and told to go their nastily when I had questions. VERY rude employees in Newark. THEN in Passaic friendly staff but took an hour just to check out due to systems going down. THEN the truck I got when driving trans was having issues staying in low gears and banging into gear. And had to Jump start it twice. Would of been nice if I had something reliable. Honestly worst experience I've ever had with Uhaul. Greatly disappointed. Your online systems are terrible and vehicles poorly maintained. I feel even after receiving a discount, I still over paid for the headache I had to deal with. Moving is stressful and the Uhaul should have been the least of my worries.

I was charged for two day rental and I only used the truck for one day. Why I that. I was also never notified 24 hours before picking the truck as per you website it says that I will receive a notification 24 hours before picking the truck up or I receive 50$ off. I said that to the customer service rep at the counter and she said to stop trying a wouldn’t get anything. Very unhappy with experience

Associates at this location are not professional Horrible customer service, rude and disrespectful. Do not provide customers with proper paper work claiming there’s no paper in printers. Only reason why I rented there because of an emergency

When i initially went to pickup the van I asked if there was a flat rate that included mileage like the sign states....95.00 includes 75 miles then 0.49 per mile afterward. I was told we were paying 19.95and 1.09 per mile. She never asked how many miles i would be driving. It should not matter since i pad via mike. When i retuned the van today, i was charges the 95.00 and .49 per mile after 75 miles. You should really train the reps at,the location with the correct information. Will rent from another rental office.

The handle for the rare opening of the truck were broken when I return it and the store didn't have any record prior to my rentals. I don't recall if I broke it or not. My insurance will cover for the demage and I think they ought to have record that the truck was not damaged when I rented.
