This is the second time I’ve used this location. Dirt for pickup and this time for return. I will not use this location again as the lady was rude, impatient, and very negative on life! Life is just too short to return for the same treatment.

Make it easier to gauge the amount of gas needed for the refill at end of rental. My driver thought he was fine, but apparently not. So we just paid the gas charge at return. Otherwise it was a very good rental experience with helpful friendly employees!!

We called to have a 26 foot Truck saved for pick up for Wednesday 10/31 and gave them a CC then when the driver got there they didnt have the CC information tied to order. I had to use a personal CC cause that Business CC had left for a Business trip Tuesday nite. Then after we got the Truck to office and loaded we had problem with where we had to deliever so the truck stayed parked in our locked warehouse not moved from time picked up till this morning to deliever. After we saw we could not empty it yesterday afternoon I personal called and talked to a man at Uhaul in Pearl office and he told me there would not be extra charge if we could have it back by 11am cause it was saved for another customer at 12 lunchtime. I told him "No Problem and Thanks" I asked again if there would be extra charge for just overnite cause of it just sitting and no miles used... again he said no extra charge. Our whole trip from pick up to drop off was only 13 miles So we dropped off our customers house stuff and had back at uhaul at 9:17 am, I was charged $39.95 +tax extra on my card and not sure what this 28.00 safe move is either. This CC is an employees that was helping out since uhaul did not have the information ready after calling ahead of time. When I called to ask what happened the lady I talked to was rude and told me there were NO notes in computer about this and it doesnt matter if we are 1 hour or day late it would charge a whole day and she would not do anything. I told her that whoever answers the phones should know what they are to do and they should see who that person was working yesterday afternoon around 3 to 3:30 . Our company rents from this location lots. Plus our driver said he told the uhaul people about a broken handle inside truck and he got attitude from a worker.

I would not recommend this location to NO ONE!!!!! They will charge you for extra CRAP, the truck was having breaking issues.. and the customer service is VERY poooorr!!!!!!!! I did not leave satisfied.. and if you ask them to keep copies of your paper to provide proof for no extra charges they will claim they don’t have any documentations. Of ANYTHING !!! They are scammers !!!!!!!

The young man who helped me was very nice, but he needs a little more training on how to attach a trailer. He didn’t tighten the ball enough, when I tried to roll my motorcycle on the back the tongue lifted right off the hitch. He also didn’t tighten the chains enough, when I added weight they dragged on the ground. Again, nice kid, just needs training.



The store was absolute disaster. The customer service was the worst I’ve ever experienced to date. The store smelt like feces. A girl there appeared to have the flu but was not concerned about anyone else. I will never step foot back into this store. Only reason I had to was this was the only store that had what I needed

Give me an option of charging to my card or paying in cash. I had recently had surgery so moving was arduous. Because I didn't know to make certain I had funds to cover everything, I also incurred an OD fee. If I had been asked I would have moved monies around.

The ladies there were SUPER awesome!! Very customer-service oriented. I will say the truck itself was a little crazy to drive. The brakes did this weird thing and it drove slowly. Overall, though, the experience with the location was pleasant.



Casey did a great job in taking care of me. I have tried several times here recently to check in online but it takes way too long and this last time was the worst by far. I had to agree to the terms and conditions TWICE. I have to submit a photo of my driver's license TWICE. I rent from you every month with my business but yet the minute your guy online couldn't get an alternate contact on the phone, he wanted to not rent me the van. I informed him (I think his name was Lark) that I rent from Uhaul all the time that he could even call the Uhaul store and even they could vouch for who I was. He asked for a passport or a proof of mortgage papers! WHO CARRIES MORTGAGE PAPERS WITH THEM TO RENT A UHAUL! Not mention a passport..... I'm not leaving the country in your van. There should be a program for business owners that is not this complicated. Oh and THANK GOODNESS I took personal photos on my phone of your odometer and gas readings. Your online service tried to charge me extra for gas when I returned the van with a slight bit more gas than I received it. Thank goodness the lady at the local uhaul store was there to help me. You need to quit trying to omit paying employee and making the customer do all the work and keep the employees IN THE STORE and let them give the customer service needed in order to keep the public wanting to come back to Uhaul.

This was not the location for picked out. I was never given a phone call for confirmation or change of location. I found out by showing up and being sent to another part of town. The UHAUL Storage of Pearl was accommodating and super nice. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Let’s us use the location that we made our reservation at and don’t make us go to another location to get and return the trailer. Also train your staff at this location to have a friendlier response with the customer and don’t act like we’re bothering them.

When I arrived later that afternoon to have the hitch attached to the truck for my car. The GM I do not remember her name finally made it to the back to assist, she had the young man attach the hitch and they both walked off without any direction or instructions how to get the car loaded onto the hitch. I asked one of the movers that was with me to go back inside and ask her to come back out to direct. The young man came out and stated they are not responsible nor do they load the car onto hitch. I hesitantly gave direction to the mover and I as to what to do. I stated to him it would have been nice for one of them to have said something to me instead of just walking off without saying anything. I have never experienced anything like this before. So, no I would not recommend anyone to this location. I work hard for my money and to spend nearly $600.00 for the truck plus gas, no I was not satisfied at all and wonder how she became a general Manager.

I made a reservation for an appliance dolly over the phone and I went to three separate locations and none of them had an appliance dolly even though their stock reflected otherwise. This particular location rented me the dolly, however they set my Time to bring it back at a time after the location was closed.



Woman who was there when truck was returned did not verify fuel and mileage while we were there. We returned the truck one day early, but said we were 45 minutes after 8:30 so we were charged for an extra day. We explained to her that we waited for her to open so we could see how much we were going to get back. She said in monotone, "Makes no difference." She sent a man to hail us down after we left U-Haul to tell us to come back and then she proceeded to tell my husband that he did not fill up truck. He told her that he had just come back from filling truck and filled it to the point it was running over. She said, "You will still be charged because needle is not on full." She was rude, unaccommodating and charged us $453.05 for the round trip to Wiggins, MS from Pearl, MS. She put the return time as 11:07 a.m. on the receipt. That is a lie. Guess she just wrote what she wanted on the receipt. Will never use U-Haul again. Hard lesson learned.

Clean the inside of the windshields, I had a truck that had been smoked in and the inside of windshield was filthy, early morning sun on dirty windshield had a terrible glare. I had to stop and find something to clean it with.

Did not understand the reason to reserve equipment when i went to pick up equipment the customer in front of me rented the last utility dolly when i was supposed to have reserved it then the personnel lady named Robin sent me to another location to pick up one but they also didnt have one so i was sent to pearl location to pick up one and they didnt have one available. Understanding my frustration the personnel lady found me one in her storage it was very frustrating and inconvenient for me which put me behind schedule to pack up my belongings and make a 6hr move to TX so when i called Customer Service they assured that i would be credited $50 cash when i dropped off the equipment only to find out that they would only give me $25 Uhaul credit but that was inconsiderate knowing that i would not be using Uhaul ever again and neither would anyone I know.
