The windshield on the truck was very dirty and hard to see at night. Was not told how to properly return the truck after hours.. the next morning they lied about the gas level being below how much I took it out with.. good thing I took a picture before I left the truck or they would've charged me double the amount of the rental. Now I am inconvenienced to get my money back. Didn't call me before they charged my card for the extra wrong amount.
There isn't much to improve; the counter staff was patient, friendly and easy to work with. I hope I never need U-Haul again in my lifetime, but if/when I do, this is the place at which I'd prefer to do business.
I booked the van at 12, left it on the lot and didn't pick it up until after 1cameras can prove this ; in addition to using it literally around the corner and because I went to get gas and arrived at 1:30 I was charged an extra day. No mercy at all!!! Never use UHAUL again

This location was extremely helpful and the only reason that we actually got a van that day. Everything that happened with U-Haul before we got to this location was not convenient. I had to edit my reservation several times because several different people failed to tell me that there were no vans available. Please call your customers and let them know that nothing is available instead of leaving them hanging. After someone edited my reservation over the phone, I was directed to another U-Haul location that said they had confirmed my reservation but did not have anything available when I got there. That location then sent me to a 2nd location where I had to do a self check in. I sat there for 45 minutes waiting for "approval" even though they had edited my reservation to pick up at the new location. I also tried to call customer service at this time, was on hold during that wait, and never got through to anyone. Then we went over to 21st Century Storage. This was our 3rd location of the day and we finally got a van. The person working there was extremely helpful and is the only reason we got our reservation. It took us 2 hours that morning to finally get something, which is really unacceptable. There are too many loose ends in the system and I do not plan on using U-Haul again.
Be upfront with the customer as far as where the location of the pickup is. I was told that I can pick up the truck at a location and received a text letting me know that it was to be picked up at a further location which added mileage to my rental. They did however give me a discounted rate on the mileage because of the mishap
Please Wash & Check all Vehicle Fluid Levels and Sanitization Cleanliness Prior to Rental-Purchase also Check Tire pressure + All Electrical Components, to Ensure Safe Travel for Consumers who may be pressed for Time Customers Should not have to sterilize the Interior of any Vehicle prior to leaving the premises which in most cases my wife and I have not had any major problems also, Jim and Carmen @ 21st Century Storage Pennsaukenn location are Great People with Great Customer Service Skills would definitely Recommend to family and friends
The reservation experience was a nightmare. My original reservations was set for 10am pickup. However, no one informed me my reservation changed to 12pm. I only found out when I called the Uhaul location and they informed me my reservation was changed to 12pm. Then when 12pm came, I was told it wasn't going to be ready until 1:30pm. And then when 1:30pm arrived, I received a call saying the truck was broken. It wouldn't have been as bad if someone informed me that my original 10am reservation changed, but never got a call, email or text.
I was given the wrong lock box combination.
IT WAS NOT THE LOCATIONS FAULT - but uhaul had the wrong address online and in turn we drove in circles for an hour. Ridiculous.
Walked in with an item to return along with my paperwork for the truck and trailer. I was told that They didn't do returns, and I needed to drop the trailer in a different spot in the lot, unhook the trailer, then park the truck again. They also didn't check to see if the hand truck was in the back of the truck, nor count all the pads I was returning.

The inside of the cabin was dirty. When I wiped with paper towel and sanitizer it was black when I wiped, in some areas, Steering wheel not as dirty, but still not clean, cup holders dirty. The equipment needed some servicing, I had not driven truck before, but sometimes going up hill it would only go 30-40 mph, Other Uhauls would pass me going much faster.
First place in Camden, NJ would not take vehicle. Had to find this place and when I called UHaul I couldn't get through so I just made the decision to drop it at second place I could find close to me.
Company lied about calling me. Moved my pick up date. Won't reimburse. Company response was worse than poor.
The rep there was absolutely awesome! Very accommodating. He made me feel very comfortable while waiting almost 50 minutes for a LYFT. I highly recommend this location.
The truck did not seem to be wiped down. While wiping down with disinfectant wipes, there was quite a bit of grime coming off. There is also no info on COVID measures, either online or in the store. I was not successful trying to set up no touch mobile verification and check in. It seems to me the process is a bit onerous. The staff is very friendly and attentive at this location. Thanks.
