It’s a ripoff to customers! Even though U-Haul doesn’t charge by the day…respectfully U-Haul should refund money if the rental is turned in the same day.instead of charging 3 days when customer only needs 1…will not use U-Haul service again!

Getting the truck was very confusing and took to long. Although the person was somewhat friendly, it seemed liked she didn’t didn’t know what she was doing, having technical difficulties or maybe both, but it was the worst experience I have had.

Mykeia JStreet address is slightly confusing. In maps has you go 8 different directions and ways to get somewhere, when if it was just on "XXXXX St" instead, it would be right there. Since it's behind a building you don't know and can tell the folks in the front bldg get asked the U-Haul question a lot. U-Haul door has no signage, don't know where or which one to go to. As well as when you do go in you can easily pass the office. In addition to the facility I did have an issue with the overall checkout. When I got in the truck I took notice of the gas and it was on the white line past the 1/2 way marker. The guy also said it was a 5th full. My understanding is the marker past the 1/2. Filled.it back up to what we started with and at checkout we went over milage by a whopping 6 miles and then charged another 8 dollars for gas since it was on the white line instead of slightly over it. So the initial $42, 19.99 for the truck and then 20 for mileage plus tax got us to $42 then an additional $14 and some change at drop off smh. So a total of $56 for less than 3 hours. Maybe give the places a little leeway or some freedom in letting things slide....? You offer insurance why not offer a milage package? Maybe 10 bucks and fist 30 miles are included type thing and then each mile after that is 50 cents or something. The gas thing is what is aggravating about it all. Had his little handheld thing, scanned it and typed some stuff and poof I owed more money. Went 26 total miles, put 3.2 gallons in. According to the gas gauge trip saver or whatever I was supposed to use only 2.9 to 3 gallons. I added more and still was told it was wrong. He did everything from outside the truck so maybe it was an angle thing, would have looked way different if he was inside the truck doing the readings straight on potentially. Not sure don't know just don't think I should have been charged for gas.
