I used the mobile app to check in. I usually don't have a big problem with this, but the internet at Petersburg, right at the post, is not strong so I have to walk around in the parking lot to keep my connection going. I also had trouble getting the lock to open. The flip switch is a little small and difficult to move. It took several tries with moving the word code a little up or down, since the mark on the sides was not the correct spot - the word needed to be under the mark. I worry for the working of the lock on a cold, wintery day.... Otherwise, I love the location. I live in New Dundee, had my pick up just outside of Petersburg, delivered to Baden - perfect spot to minimize my costs.

Staff were incredibly kind and helpful
Chance PMy only complaint is that there was only 1 small parking space left to return the truck to and as it was a 26’ truck, I was unable to park it back in that space and had to leave it up against a garage door potentially blocking other cars. Aside from that, the service was amazing and I would absolutely rent from that location again!
MEGAN BBook directly with the Petersburg location. They know what they are doing and are excellent. If you book online, directly with a U Haul agent, be prepared for a terrible experience.
DEREK HIt's a pain when the tank is not full at pickup. I always end up paying for more gas than required. Is this part of the Uhaul business model to get gas for free?
