It took 1.5 hours to get my truck. I ordered it online and was suppose to do contactless pickup. After going thru the pickup process 3 times I went into the store. The counter guy tried to do the process 2 times with no luck. He told me I had to call customer service. When I did the customer service lady said sorry you ordered truck online I can't help you. It would appear no one with uhaul could help me pick up my truck. It was ridiculous. While I was there 2 more people came in and they were given the same bad customer service.

THE EMPLOYEES AT THIS LOCATION WERE VERY KIND AND HARD WORKING, but there were about 2 employees working and there were so many trucks being dropped off that it was blocking a very busy street. Drop off and registration were the same story. It was a stressful situation for me, and I can only imagine how stressful it was for the man checking people in, cleaning the trucks, and trying to certify that there was no damage, etc. Same for the woman doing registrations and fielding tons of frustrated customers who are stressed about waiting indoors for long periods of time during a pandemic. I think for the amount of business coming into this location the owner should have at least 3 people to process returned vehicles, and at least 2 or 3 to help with checkout so that the people on duty are not so swamped. It is actually a little offensive to see a national franchise doing so much business but hiring so few people to be paid for the work that needs to be done. Additionally, having so few people to help with dispensing keys/finalizing registration means that you have a lot of people waiting in a line for a long time during a pandemic which puts customers and employees at greater risk. Please invest in the health of your employees and customers by hiring more people. So many people need jobs right now, and so many people are clearly renting your trucks/vans. When I arrived at this location, there was a line of people, and the employees that were there were talking amongst each other as opposed to helping the customers. I was charged for equipment that I never received. This location is by far the worst and I will never come back or recommend a friend.

I was late to pick up the van and my reservation was subsequently cancelled out the system. I had to resubmit a new request and all my information. Not a facility problem, however, it would be nice if I had the option of rescheduling a pick up time rather than having the reservation cancelled. The staff there were very helpful.
