The floor board in the cabin was very dirty with dirt and something sticky that had been spilled. Other than that, everything was great.

Staff was not friendly. Lady chargered me $12 because she said the gas wasn’t where it was when we left. It had a half a tank when we left and it had half a tank when we came back. When we got it, she said we was suppose to make sure the gas tank was around the same and it was! The gas meter barely moved.

Had truck for 1 week. Went to return on time and was told I had to take to another location 15 miles away because they were full. Told me uhaul traffic was supposed to call and tell me. Then returned truck to other location and they told me I had to take it to original location. Finally let me return it at 2nd location then took 1 1/2 hrs to process my payment. Will never use uhaul again and will definately never recommend them to anyone

Remove the trees and pave the area for better placement of the trucks and trailers.


Tire was flat, and I was basically told to take it or leave it in so many words. I took it, as I needed it and wound up not being able to use it. When trying to contact the rental location for hours on end I got no answer. I contacted uhaul corporate and was left on hold for almost 2 hours before being transferred to road side assistance, even after telling them I didn't want roadside assistance at almost 9pm because I had no use for it. The woman from roadside assistance was clearly aggravated and responded to my frustrations with her own by letting out loud, unprofessional sighs any time I tried to explain to her that I did not want roadside and did not want to be left on hold for another 2 hours. So I might as well have thrown the money I spent in the trash.

There didn't have the equipment ready. I had to travel 5 miles to get the equipment. I want some from customer service to call me at 256-486-1512.


One of the tires on the trailer I rented was flat. Periodic tire checks on equipment could have saved having to inflate it before rental. This was a walk in situation, not a reservation.


Be on time. When you open at 9 be there at 9 Do maintenance on your trucks because the one I had definitely needs it. Lady at desk could be a little friendlier

We likely won't use UHaul again as you didn't have the reservation for the truck at the Central, SC location as we requested. We had to drive to Piedmont to pick up the truck and delayed our moving by 1.5 hours.

Cruise Control on the truck would be the only thing that could have made my experience any better. The person that assisted me in the truck rental was very professional. That is the main reason that I would return to this location.


The steering wheel in the truck we rented was off line. I am assuming that this made the driving a little sluggish. The truck was brand new so I was expecting a much better drive out of the vehicle. Other than that everything else was great.

We ended up having to go to another U-Haul because the dolly we rented was not available. It would have been nice to know that going into the rental so we didn't have to go two places...we could have just gotten everything at the other location.

Vehicles should be checked before renting. The wiper blades were worn out and streaked the window without clearing it. Had to stop at a service station to clean the windshield both inside and outside (inside was smeared and greasy). Lucky it didn't rain or I would had to call for service.

Location did not have the truck requested and did not advise until the day before pick-up. The closest location for the equipment was 35-50 miles.


Had no mechanical issues agents were very help and answered all questions would recommend to all had a very pleasant moving experience
