I was charged for not returning 12 furniture pads that I never received. I requested 24 furniture pads. The clerk gave me 2 bags and said there were 12 pads in each bag. Later that night when loading, I discovered there were only 6 pads per bag. I received 12 pads instead of 24. I called U-Haul the next day to explain what happened, and they still charged me for 12 missing pads at $8 per pad when I returned the vehicle.

One of my worst rental experiences ever!! Original reservation was made 6.25.26. I received a call on 8.7.26, saying that my truck was not available at the 1st location. I was redirected to another ocation from a list of options. I arrived at the 2nd location, and was told that truck wasn't available ans thet they couldn't locate the keys. The rep searched for a 3rd location, which led me to Red Lion. Needless to say, it took me an hr and a half to pick up my rental, delaying my day, which was scheduled to be returned the same day. At least the last rep had a truck available. Overall, Uhaul needs to do better!!
Reci WIt's a bit out of the way. Hard to find bc it's in a gas station. Clerk was very friendly, and was open for returns as long as the gas station was open.
