Truck was dirty and sticky inside. Despite being a customer 3 times a year for several years the staff was unhelpful and lied to my face at least 3 times. I was charged a total of 12 times on 2 cards which caused me to bounce multiple checks and incur a lot of fees. 12 x $293 is a ton of money. Plus 6 bank fees of $35 each. The last charge came through 8 days into the rental. Really infuriating experience which TAV would not help with. I was shocked by the way I was treated. It wasn’t only a pain in my butt, but it negatively effected a lot of other people too. I had the truck for two days less than expected, and the price was not adjusted. They lied about how much fuel was in the truck, but I had to sign the contract before seeing the truck. When I told them the fuel level wasn’t correct they told me “the first line of the contract reads ‘its the customers responsibility to inspect the truck before signing’ “ NICE! I was a day late picking up the truck because of their horse-sh*t. I was stressed out. They wouldn’t tell me which truck it was until I signed. And even if they had, I couldn’t have checked the fuel level without the key. Which they don’t turn over until you sign. A whole bunch of hateful little cons like that, and this is to a person who rented 9 times and was a customer in good standing who referred a lot of customers to their business. Don’t rent here, seriously. EVER. You will get ripped off, lied to, jerked around, and, if you speak up about any of it the 6 foot plus owner will physically intimidate you even though he will make you deal with his wife the whole time you’re renting, he has no problem getting up so close behind you that you can literally feel his breath on your neck. SCARY.

I was extremely disappointed in that I returned the vehicle one day earlier than required with more than 1/2 a tank more gas than what was in the vehicle when I picked it up, and because I drove the vehicle 13 more miles than was was allotted, I was charged a mileage fee for those 13 miles. That charged really bothers me and will impact any decision regarding future rentals.

I booked a truck 5 months in advance and the 2 days prior to pick up I was advised the truck I ordered would not be available at this location. Upon arrival, I found 3 trucks the size that I had reserved on the lot, yet I was not able to have one.

Only issue was ... we could not connect to the uhaul site during our after-hours drop off. Not a real issue as the follow-up was fine. It was just a bit confusing and we satisfied ourselves that the drop off time was valid with a phone message to TAV..
