I called this location to see if I brought back the trailer two days early and the gal on the phone said, "yes, of course". I made a special effort to get help to unload the trailer and take it back two days early only to be told when I got there that they would not do a refund for an early return. So I ended up paying for 4 days when I only had the trailer for 2 days. Very disappointing.

the turn in and out was really tight with the big trailer and dolley. It would've been very difficult if someone with little to know experience of driving a big truck and dolley were picking up/ dropping off here.

This location was awesome, the first location I booked was actually closed. I walked in to this location and was greeted immediately and taken care of within 15 minutes.

The only problem with the equipment was the driver side door handle. It was coming loose. I didn't have a problem with the Pocatello location, but I was very upset with my reservation being changed on me. I originally called to set up a pick up at one of the Blackfoot locations at the beginning of the week. I never received a phone call about where to pick up the truck. Then the night before, I had to call to see where I was to pick up the truck. They said I would have to go clear down to Pocatello to get a truck and it wouldn't be available until 4 that afternoon. We were scheduled to pick it up bright and early that morning. The whole situation was very frustrating. I was grateful that they did reimburse us for the travel from Blackfoot to Pocatello.

The customer service was great! The general manager Kasey was a really good guy and he helped me out a lot! I moved from Pocatello, ID to Seattle, WA with the help of the UHaul staff at the Pocatello, N. 5th location. I highly recommend this location if you are looking for help with your moving over the summer!

No this was not the whole situation just part of it. When we picked up the truck and got to the end of the block we noticed the check engine light was on and the brakes seemed strange. So I called Uhaul tried to explain what was going on to see about changing it out. I ended up talking to 4 people who said just call roadside. One even said just drive until it acts up then call roadside. As I was moving to another state the trip was going to be 600 miles and we also were pulling a car behind the uhaul. So after I finally after I got another truck then there was issues trying to get the 2 car transporters that I needed. I was going to have to drive to Blackfoot to pick up one which was about 25 miles from where I requested it from. This would have taking at least 2 hrs by the time we got there and hooked it up and then took it to the Uhaul Center with the vehicle we needed to tow to load as we were not going to drive it to Blackfoot. This was all very stressful, frustrating, and most of all very time consuming when you are trying to move. Then I noticed I got an email on Thursday that Uhaul was trying to contact me regarding my truck rental contract. At this time we were stuck in Wyoming due to the storms and the roads being closed. So when I called Uhaul they said it was checked out as 1 day two way rental. My reservations was for a one way rental to CO which the first truck was checked out correctly. So after spending more time on the phone trying to figure this out they said I might have issues when I check it in. So the rep said she would talk to her manager to see about changing it so I would not have issues and call me back. She left me a message saying everything should be fine when we check it in. She was wrong when we checked it back in on Sat they were trying to charge me another $240 for the miles so I had to try to explain everything again. Again this was very stressful for the whole ordeal with Uhaul especially when I made my reservations almost a month in advance. Everyone was saying they are short on equipment and that is why they could not change the truck out and struggled to find me two car transports. I thought reservations were to make sure you had the equipment ready when someone places one. I guess this is not true with Uhaul. So with all the stress, frustrations, and time wasted with Uhaul I feel I should be offered some kind of refund for all the problems I have gone through. I will be moving again but will not be making reservations with Uhaul. Regards, LaVerne

the places I picked up the equipment were fine- however, I was called by Uhaul on the morning i was meant to pick up the equipment and told they didnt have it- I had to drive 50 miles one way to pick up the truck. Uhaul was reluctant to offer any sort of compensation until pressed. This put my whole schedule behind and was very frustrating

Our experience was garbage. We rented a 15' truck and when we called to confirm, they told us at first they had no trucks available. They then came back and said they had a 10'. We were charged nearly the same amount for a much smaller truck and had to leave things behind to accommodate for the lack of space. We are so very disappointed with this experience and it made our moving process much, much more stressful.

The staff was friendly, the vehicle was adequate for our needs, I had two issues with the vehicle however, it was my understanding that I could return the vehicle early and when I went to fuel the vehicle at the end of the day, the gas cap broke and I had to remove the inside of the gas cap from the gas tank before I could refuel it. I had to drive it home to find tools to remove the inside of the gas cap out of the gas tank. All of this took a lot of time. Then when I refueled the vehicle it took 7 1/2 gallons to bring it back to full and I only drove 48 miles. The U-haul representative was nice enough to give me a credit on the mileage cost.
