There seems to be a real disconnect between the scheduling team and the local branch. I schedule it far in advance, but the local branch doesn't know until the very last minute and seems to ask me all the same questions I answered while reserving my truck.

The only concern I had was that I rented the smallest truck and did not realize that it did not have a ramp, so it made my local move more cumbersome. A little advice from the staff might have been helpful since I had never used your services or trucks before. Other than that, the truck worked just fine.

Service has been extremely slow whenever I have used this location. This time I stood in line for 15 minutes before He got someone else to work the other register. It took me 25 minutes to rent a dolly, and there was only one other person in front of me in line when I arrived.

They charged me more for gas than they should have according to the contract. The contract said I agreed to pay $4 per gallon of gas that I used and didn't refill. I drove 9 miles total with my 10-foot truck rental. The gas gauge barely moved from full and was closer to full than to 15/16. Because I was also paying for the truck by the mile that I drove, I decided it was not worth the additional cost of driving around a new town at a cost per mile to look for a station to add one gallon of gas. So as soon as I arrived, I told the employee that I owed him for a gallon of gas. He told me the gauge measured 15/16, so I had to pay for two gallons. I told him that I had just been in the truck looking at the gauge and it was 29/30 (which admittedly does not have a line on the gauge) not 15/16, so I should only be charged for one gallon. Uhaul's website also lists this truck as getting 12 miles to the gallon, so my having driven only 9 miles should also have indicated I used only one gallon or less. But the employee told me if it wasn't completely full, they automatically charge for two gallons even if the customer only drove one mile and used a few drops of gas. That is not what the contract says. It says I should have been charged for the estimate of what I used. One gallon was a much better estimate based on the gauge and the number of miles I drove. The $4 does not matter; but the contract did not say anything about charging for gas based only on two-gallon increments or only based on increments that have a line marked on the gauge. Because I explained this to the employee and he still charged me for two gallons, it was clear he was knowingly charging me extra for absolutely nothing and with no basis in the contract to do it. That treatment, no matter how financially minimal, makes me not want to return to this business.

I called the pocatello location before and they quoted us above and beyond what we have paid at other uhaul locations previously. We cancelled and called the uhaul hotline and they directly quoted d us a more realistic price and booked it for us at the same location. The person who booked it for us said local stores sometimes do what they want and charge much more. We get our vehicle to move there are people in the store complaining to the man about something not being correct. We get our vehicle bring it back and they charge us around 100 for a local move. This is not what we were quoted on the phone and when I filled up the gas tank before I return it, I call the local store to verify what kind of gasoline to put in since I cannot find anywhere in the vehicle which type it takes. The man acts annoyed on the phone and behaves like my question was stupid. I do not appreciate this and I will never be using uhaul for a long time and certainly never EVER at this location again

The guy who helped me acted like it was a pain in the ass to rent me a dolly. I want impeded by him in the slightest but, I guess your get what you pay for. The cheapest in town isn't always the nicest.

The customer may be renting a vehicle because their personal or work vehicle is at the dealership for repairs or warranty work. In that case your company may want to pick up the customer to begin the rental service. Just a thought even though the long walk might be healthy for them.

Probably not recommend due to overall dissatisfaction with the company during this move. Although, we were given a refund for the oil we had to buy as well as the meals we purchased due to missing plans to meet with family and friends during this move.

Probably the worst customer service I have experienced. I will never use this location again. When I first walked in, no one greeted me. One employee had just arrived. Her clothes were wrinkled and dirty and not professional. Who I'm assuming is the manger, had us come outside to do the walk around. He was very short, rude and had zero customer service skills. It was determined that there was damage to the trailer that we did not cause. He was rude about how he handled it. He called the Boise office to see if the damage was already there when we picked it up (we had not done a walk around at pickup). He did not keep us involved in the conversation or what was happening. When he hung up, he said "you can go now". He did not tell us if the issue was resolved, if we were being charged, anything. Absolutely unbelievable how rude he was. He is a detriment to your business.
