1st trailer had a broken door. Had to switch for another trailer. The staff took care of it quickly and had me on my way in short order.The equipment was clean and in good order except for the broken door on the first trailer.

The place is very well and I think it's one of the best Uhaul sites around here. But yesterday we ordered dolly but we didn't get any. It was super annoying 'cause we couldn't come back and pick one.

We had made a reservation at another location only to discover when we arrived they never carry the product we reserved. Also that location has an incorrect phone number attached to it, so we couldn’t confirm earlier and avoid having to run around wasting our time and money. It is the dealer at Shana’s Marketplace in Coquitlam,BC. Please fix that.

made me drive all the way to abbottsford to acces my ubox. I had to pay over 50$ in gas and extra fees because they were unable to deliver to the port moody location which was 3km from where i live. instead i had to drive over 150 km because of their screw up

I waited 10 minutes for a staff person to approach me, on returning my vehicle. I checked the office, the outside area, , no staff asked me wait or let me know that someone would be coming to help me.

The staff started calling us the day before the truck was due back, asking if we could bring it in early. We said no. They called several times the next day, before the truck was due back, telling us we were late and were unpleasant when we returned the truck. It's not our fault they double booked. We should not have been harassed like this.

When I originally picked up the truck the mileage was not updated and was incorrectly shown on the contract. The U-Haul employee inspecting the truck wrote the correct mileage amount on the contract and told us to mention it at drop off to have the charge accurately reflected. Dropped off truck before opening and completed the check in on my phone. Checked that I did not agree with the additional mileage charges (as it was charging me the incorrect amount) and asked for the charges to be ammended. This was not done and I was charged more than I should have been. I would like this issue fixed.

I was sent to a location which as closed. I had confirmed and checked online to speed up the pickup process but dealer was closed and no body notified me. Wasted so much of my time. Was booked for 7:30am and called customer service , they sent me to another location that was open, paws able to pickup trailer 01:00pm. Total waste of time.

Office was understaffed after one employee called in sick, leaving only one guy at the desk plus some trainees. 10+ people in line. Booking online didn't save any significant time because we still had to wait for other people to work through their orders. We ordered a 17' truck. We were informed the location didn't have any 17' trucks, so they upgraded us to a 20'. But we were charged the 20' truck rate when we didn't need it. The person who upgraded us made no note on the order. For some reason the location couldn't address this. We had to call customer service to get the difference refunded, and that meant waiting on hold for 70 full minutes. Also, it's unreasonable to expect people to have a data plan on their phone for returning after-hours. If the keys are in the drop-box, what more information should be required? The truck was good and gave us no trouble, so that avoids the 'poor' rating. But the service was underwhelming.

Unfortunately, I booked at a location that was closer to me online. Signed up for the online pick up. Received confirmation that it was ready at that location to pick up but when I got there, I was at the “wrong “ location. The Port Moody location where I ended up at was extremely helpful. It’s nice to deal with actual people. I’m sure the online service is usually good but I was let down by it.

Had a brand new Van, it handled like a dream. The gas level was much lower than the system said but they corrected it right away. Great visit over all and I will be renting vans from them. In the future.

I had an express check in - appt was for 7.30am pickup - was in the line up to 8.20am. Didn’t get the truck out of there until an hour later. Asked if I can add that wait time since I’m delayed and only had a 4 hr limit but was told no it can’t be extended yet the person beside me was given 30 mins so other than that I think just having the flexibility to add the time as it wasn’t the customers fault for delay. I had to rush back which that half an hour could have at least helped

We were able to return the van we rented quickly and without any issues. It is great that you have service people outside as you come in to take care of paying quickly. There was a long line inside when we returned and we were taken care of quickly outside. Awesome!!
