I scheduled the pick up of the U Haul an hour before the movers arrived. It took over an hour to get the U Haul. The man behind the counter was incompetent and was rude to me and the customer before me. It was obvious he had no idea what he was doing. By this time I was already late to meet the movers. I finally got the key and went out to take pictures of the U Haul. It instructed me to open the rear door to take pictures. I was unable to get the lock open. Finally after struggling with the lock for over 10 minutes, it opened. I noticed that the blankets I ordered were not inside. So I had to drive the U Haul to the rear of the store and wait another 10 minutes for the man at the counter to get the blankets. By this time I was upset. I didn't take the pictures thinking everything would be fine. I wasn't going far and it would only take a few hours. Leaving the parking lot I noticed the fuel gauge was on 3/8 of a tank. Should have been at 3/4. I figured it would be ok. Id just have to explain what happened. Know this, I've used U Haul for years without a problem. Now the customer is responsible for taking pictures and making sure the truck has the proper amount of fuel before it leaves? I don't work for U Haul and taking pictures is not my responsibility. I returned the vehicle and the incompetent man at the counter told me I would be responsible for the half tank of fuel I didn't use. You can make this right with me, or I'll never use U Haul again. The incompetent man with the lip piercing behind the counter made this time with U Haul a horrible experience. This is a first. The store keeps running my card. Trying to charge me for 32 dollars in gas that I didn't use and refuse to pay for. Make it right!!!

I was charged for gas when I filled up to the original line. I have photos. It’s less than 10.00 and I’m not going to do anything but misleading for sure.

Matthew DCheck in process was a little wonky due to the app not allowing me to check in or return my equipment. It took a couple additional phone calls over two days to close out my rental and receive a receipt with this location.
