Apparently my return hadn't been processed correctly, so I did get some notifications that I was late and action would be taken. But upon contacting the location, the woman I spoke with (Jessica..?) was extremely helpful in resolving things and ensuring I was in the clear!

attendant indicated vehicle gas level was full when I picked it up ....the gauge read full but it was not ....I went 21 miles and was charged for 13 gallons which equals 1.61 miles per gallon for a van that probably averages 15 miles/gallon) Also, contract stated .29/mile but I was invoiced at .89/mile It was obvious that I was overcharged ~$20 but there was “nothing she could do”

Computer system was down when I picked up my vehicle. mileage was incorrectly transferred to paperwork which resulted in another delay. These things happen I'm ok with that part. A verbal fight broke out between two employees upon my return of the vehicle. yeah, overall I'd give it a 2.5...out of 10

So I get an email saying that my pick up location had been changed and there were no other information on what to do. So I get there and there is this memo on the counter stating that you must agree to sign up that you are going to go 100 miles or they would not rent you the truck. Well my request only said that I wanted or thought that I would go 40 or 50 miles. I was not happy that this location has a special policy that no other location that I have ever rented from has ever had, in addition to not being advised about this special policy prior to picking up the truck. Not happy with this surprise. Lucky for me I had the funds in my account to still be able to rent the truck.

This was an ideal location for us because the rental office is inside a gas station. This made it very convenient to fuel the truck on our return. But wait there’s more! The gas attendant also took care of the paperwork to close out our reservation! We will definitely use them again for our UHaul needs in the future. Thank you!

Had to pay double the price I was quoted. Terrible experince! I was quoted $89 for mileage & was told by the website I would be locked in at a $20 rate for the rental. Not the case at all! I showed up to the U-Haul expecting to pay under $150. No, I was quoted double the price at the time of pick up. Never using u-haul again. There’s plenty of companies out there that provide the same service but don’t have to use the Bait & Switch method. Feel ripped off & pissed off.

Everything went smoothly and quickly. I think having done the on-line check in prior to showing up helped the U-Haul personnel also. She was friendly yet efficient.

I went through the reservation process on line, wanting a 9' van, but when I got to the location, they had no record of the reservation. The lady gave me the the next size up, and said she would adjust the mileage, and insurance rate to the smaller vehicle size. She said that the insurance would have to be adjusted when the actual charge were figured after I brought the truck back. When I returned, she was not working that shift, and when I mentioned this to the lady who was there, she said she could see nothing about an insurance credit or adjustment, although the mileage rate was listed in what I had been given, I only had the truck for about 4 hrs and everything else whet perfectly, but the ball was dropped on both the on line reservation, and noting what I was told when I picked up the truck so that if she was not there when I came back I would be charged as she had told me. This cost me $4, which isn't a huge amount, but is enough for a low income person like myself., Also, when I brought the truck back, I filled the tank at the attached gas station, and the girl who was running the pump overfilled the tank & spilled gas on the ground, which I was also charged for. I'm not sure how much extra that cost me, but there was a fair amount of gas on the ground, and the tank was still dripping gas when I went in to pay and get my receipt.. So the ball was dropped on several points on my rental on 7/30/18.

Only issue was that we requested a ball for the trailer hitch and you didn't have one so I had to go elsewhere. That was kind of a pain. But nice service and easy pick up from close location. Truck was really nice.

You need to hire Janette, the sales associate at 76 Gas Station who handles Haul rentals, and give her a raise. She is an uncommon combination of accommodating, courteous, personable and professional. I arrived without a reservation but needed a pickup for the afternoon. Nothing was immediately available, but she offered van availability in early afternoon when a van was due to be turned in. However, the client renting the van didn't return the van and didn't notify that it was not going to be returned Friday. Rather, Janette discovered by calling the client, and then quickly reserved for me a small truck. Her efficiency allowed me to compete my task Friday afternoon and return the truck before 5 p.m. Throughout she was chatty and friendly with a smile, all while in between serving other gas station customers with non-U Haul rental concerns. Impressive multi-tasking. Also, return check in of the van by the gas station service attendant was seamless. All in all, a great experience working with staff at 76 Gas Station, 425 Northeast Broadway street Portland, Oregon.

I called. Dude who answered the phone said they had several trucks available. I arrived 20 minutes later. Counter dude says he doesn't think they have any trucks. I point to one outside and ask "what about that one." Counter dude says "oh, let me check." you know what? I'm tired. I just moved. I am starting a new job today and this bullshit was the last thing I needed today. The bullshit continued with this place. Truck had no operable fan. Not no A/C. No fan. It's July. There was more bullshit whem I turned in the truck but I'm done with UHaul and your rogue franchisees and your neverending customer service phone line hold times. I'll post my full review on Twitter in a big ass thread soon.

The van wasn’t super clean, which is only really annoying because I don’t want to be blamed for someone else’s mess later. A bit more effort could have been made to sweep out the mess the last people made

Location needs uhaul employees to help with the customer flow so that uhaul customers don’t feel like an inconvenience and don’t have to wait for all other customers in the store to be helped

It took a long time to pick up the Uhaul since the person helping me also needed to help out folks in the convenience store. It took me about 25 minutes to check out. I'd recommend adding another person to be on staff. She was doing a great job but had too much to juggle.

I was told that the rental truck was $19.95. There was no mention of the environmental fee or taxes. I think they should disclose all fees prior to my acceptance. Otherwise everyone was professional and the truck was clean.
