Took about an hour just for us to get checked in which cut into an hour I was paying for and then they gave away our truck so we had to get a new one

The key FOB used to lock and unlock the vehicle did not work. Could not afford the time to go to the office for them to replace the battery. It should have been checked/worked prior to the vehicle being put online for pickup.

I had to come to this U-Haul location to get equipment that they are dealer did not have it was further away from my home and the staff when we picked up the items was not very friendly and kind of rude. When I return the items to the store however the staff there was wonderful nice and understanding I would recommend this location for any future business in that area


Explain the contract. I was not aware that it was going to cost as much as it did. More expensive than I wanted.

The representative was on the phone with her boyfriend trying to find him a rapid covid testing place. I had to wait until after she got off the phone talking with them and tell him that information. This was very I professional.


I left a tin that had money in the uhaul when I returned it. I went back 30 min later and it wasnt there and everyone there denied seeing it including the woman who processed the return. The one guy sent me to the back of the storage lot to wander aimlessly claiming my uhaul was back there... it wasn't. Very sad.

Up front pricing! There was changes made and when I called to extend my rental no info was given about closing the current account. If I would have know that charging my card more twice due to closing and adding extra day. Multiple holes was placed on my card a lot of funds was held up just for this rental also they are still charging me even as of today and I paid thought I paid everything for when I made the settlement of the current of the recent account. Made this experience very difficult and different. I have been using U-Haul for years and didn't have this problem from the locations in Norfolk

The mobile return did not work I could not complete the after our return and I was charged $20 because it was not made clear I had to download the app to make return I'm sorry I was not tech savvy enough it cost me $20 for my trouble.


The young lady who waited on me at pickup was fantastic. She had 3 people in the lobby and 2 more on the phone. She was in control of it all and absolutely as polite and attentive as she could be. I will use this location again because of her. Thank you.


Shana had excellent customer service! She was very pleasant and accommodating. When we first picked up the truck, the male and female behind the counter had poor customer service - didn't greet us upon entering, spoke in an annoyed and monotones voice, and had no sense of urgency. And it wasn't like we arrived first thing in the morning! Shana made the remaining experience pleasant -we appreciate that.


Great staff. I needed to change the move date and they assisted quickly with no issues. Staff showed me how to use the auto transport and it was a real breeze

The App check-in process was ridicules. It took over 35 minutes after submitting my credentials. I actually received access to the vehicle around 8:45. Which should have changed my drop off time. I wish I had been instructed to bring my passport for personal identification, it would have been simpler than calling a close relative.


The only problem is the van had a warning that it needed an oil change.

Tell potential customers method of payment. I did not know I had to have a credit card so I used my debit card foolishly, but only had enough for the initial payment. Upon returning the truck I learned they took out the amount for the mileage thus overdrawing my account. I am not happy about that. I am an 89 year old widow and done receive benefits until after the first of the month. I felt violated!


Customer service couid have been more friendly. Could have told customer they would receive email to inspect vehicle pror to taking off lot as well as the need to fill truck back to amount received.
