I will never use uhaul ever again! Call center don't know there head from a hole in the ground however they are pleasant to talk to but screwed up every piece of information they gave me equipment not bad and the stores I felt with people were pleasant. Just the scheduling for pick up with only two times I use uhaul set me behind both time . Last time I rented utility trailer and call center told me wrong size for ball I needed. So when got to store I had to spend another $25.00 just to hook up. Now I own two of same size ball and hitch . Had to travel outside my area to pick up with several days in advance reservation. First reservation I made I could barely hear lady on the phone from back ground noise of children screaming . All around experience sick! Should have put that round about thousand dollars into another means of moving! Lesson learned and never ever again with uhaul!!!

I dropped my trailer off 20 mins before the time due and it was not checked in by the U-Haul personnel until 1:36 leading to an extra day charged to my account. This resulted in a very long hold period to get in touch with costumer service and two days waiting to have my money refunded to me.

No mention of mileage restrictions, when we specifically said we had to make 2 trips and needed an extra day. She said days were charged at normal rates. I could have rented two trucks and saved money if they were up front in the beginning. Lesson learned and I won't be a return customer. Plus gave us the wrong truck, if my wife wouldn't have bounced the ID number against the paper, I would have drove the wrong truck to Maryland twice and at 40 whatever cents a mile, in truck that wasn't even contracted to me.

The truck was cleaner than most other times i rented a Uhaul Mechanically, it was superior to any other time i have rented. I still don't like all the "little fees" that add up to push up the bill. Overall i had a more pleasant experience than most other times. The truck i rented, does need some serious attention to the windshield, it was so dirty-that i could barely see when it started raining on the highway. It needs a professional glass cleaning and new wipers-most trucks i have driven have had the dirty windshield saga. Other than that-a better experience than any other time.

Piss poor customer service and management. This company seems to be okay destroying customers days at their own expense by continuing with the same tactics although being made aware of the customer issues. The wait times are too long to speak with a customer service representative then the reps don’t know how to effectively schedule or reserve storage units. No one in the company seem to care that it’s a big inconvenience to the customer. I was even told by employees that I wasn’t the first customer with my issues and I wouldn’t be the last. This is very disheartening especially for Uhaul to be worldwide, knowing that customers aren’t being treated with the absolute best of nothing here.

Overall the uhaul exoerience customer service was below the standard I've come to expect from uhaul. I reserved a 26 foot truck from the churchland va location. I was called days later from the airline Blvd (Much further from my house where the original was only 3 miles away) location saying they had only a 20 foot truck. They ended up putting my reservation back in the system to try and find the 26 foot. I got another call from a manager that stated there were no 26 foot trucks available in Hampton Roads for my date and time. 1. Why do u let people reserve if they aren't available? 2. I should have been compensated for the additional mileage. I now had to drive much farther to get back to my starting point not to mention we had to do two trips with the truck since it wouldn't all fit in the 20 foot, then had to drive all the way back to the drop off . At the very least there should have been a discount or mileage compensation. When I asked about this I was told they didn't do that, and do I want the truck or not ?? WOW!! I've used u haul many times and was not happy with this but needed the truck. The people at the actual store location were however, nice and helpful. I was surprised that no walk around was done prior to leaving the lot . I took many pics of the scratches and dents already on the truck, also gas was only at half a tank.

Treyva Robinson (her badge said General Manager) was extremely rude! I arrived at the facility at 6:59. I walked over to where she was clean out of vehicle and advised that I had a 7:00 appt to pick up my truck. She looked at me did not say a word and proceeded to walk past me back into the building. I stood there for like 30 seconds in disbelief. I finally walk to the door stood at the entrance I watched her open the door on the opposite side of the building where I was, walk behind the counter then looked at me standing at the door then said you can come in now at 7: 00. She was totally disrespectful for someone not to even acknowledge that I spoke to them is totally unacceptable. When I said something to her about it she said I looked at you I said but you didn't even speak or acknowledge me. She was not apologetic at all The fact that she thinks looking at someone is acceptable customer service tells me there's no way she should be a general manager especially in customer-facing business. Then the top all of that off I had to bring the first truck back because it was shaking uncontrollably. I will NEVER use that facility again and in fact I will tell all my friends not to.
