Pick up truck was not available so we were given a truck with a hitch. Hitch did not fit so we had to return it. Next truck did not have the correct size hitch. The Trailer hitch for sale at U-Haul did not fit truck. We had to buy one at Harbor Freight. We heard a clunking sound in truck after we left lot. There was a piece of furniture and a cardboard box left behind by the previous customer.

The pick up location was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They evenwalked us out to the truck and stayed out untl we drove the truck away. Brandon was the gentlmen that helped my. He was awesome!!

Truck was a 20’ cracked windshield that put a glare when the sun hit! Had previous damage On driver side next to tire took pictures! With the damage on that side made a squealing noise the whole time! Truck had no cruise control so going 1300 +miles was not good! Very unhappy with experience was almost in a accident due to the glare from the cracked windshield!

Service at this location is always fantastic!



Busy but friendly business. I was helped by the manager who handled my transaction quickly and efficiently. However, he forgot to give me the trailer along with the truck that was in the quote I received when I called this business. He quickly hooked up the trailer. There was no registration in the vehicle when I was stopped by California Highway Patrol. It was a new truck with only 8,000+ miles. I was told to use the contract for registration if needed but that didn't fly with the CHP. Had to wait while they verified the truck was registered.

This place is a complete disaster. It's built on the side of a hill. There are too many trailers and little room to load and unload anything. There is one way in and one way out. What a complete mess. I will not recommend this facility to anyone. I will tell people to avoid this place. This place gives Uhaul a bad name.

Moving Help, which has really nothing to do with this UHaul Dealer or Location, did not show up or call off. They also charged me more than they refunded me but they provided me no service. If anything, they caused me a problem because I needed help and had to get the truck back the next day.

When I received the truck it was non-drivable power steering linkage was going out and they were going to send me off to Minnesota 1600 miles away in this truck. Then while I'm driving this truck when we reached South Dakota during a massive winter storm I go to use my windshield wiper fluid and it was the incorrect fluid to put in this truck to go up into the northern cold States so therefore I had to get another hotel because I could not drive with frozen windshield wiper fluid also the windshield wipers were dull and cracking. So I am very very very disappointed in U-Haul and I was told by Jim Pena in Prescott Arizona that he would deduct $800 off of my bill which has yet to be done. I had to spend five nights in hotels it should have been three nights but because of their mess up on Friday and then their mess up on the windshield wiper fluid I had to extend two more days in a hotel which I was not planning on. I would like to be reimbursed 100% because of all the emotional aggravation and the possible fatality that could have happened. I hope I don't have to get an attorney on this so I would really like for you to reimburse me for my trip along with a couple nights of my hotel Jim said that he would deduct it $800 but I have yet to see that in my bank account and I'm really not happy with the 800 actually I think it it should have been 100% covered could because that putting me in a truck was very very dangerous and that should have never happened. I was very disappointed with the van I rented today. I thought I would get the same type and quality of van as the one I rented 2 weeks ago. This one was smaller, very uncomfortable, and drove terrible. It was difficult to keep straight on the road. We had a long drive, and it was a bit scary at times. Also, we had to bring an extra vehicle with us due to the smaller capacity of this van. The top wasn't as high, and we couldn't fit everything in. This meant extra wear and tear on the second vehicle, and a lot extra in gas. Moral of the story - ALWAYS verify the type of vehicle being rented.

The young guy hooking uo the trailer noticed my drop hitch was pretty low. I also have a step bolted on the hitch. He flipped the ball and step so the hitch was high enough. Very helpful.
