The rental facility and person were fine and helpful. I am unhappy with how Uhaul allowed me to rent a 26' truck, but were unable to fulfil it.

Location is open prior to construction of a State-Of-The-Art facility. I anticipate an amazing edifice when completed.


The app would not allow us to check in. Fortunately there was a nice gentleman to help.

A trailer and truck was dropped off per the contract and the rep failed to check in the trailer. We later received an email 5-6 hours later that we were to drop off the truck at a different location. The communication and customer service is poor at the authorized dealer locations and also at the call centers. While trying to resolve this issue, a manager by the name of Samantha (she would not confirm her name), hung up the phone intentionally on me while I was trying to verify her information after stating that there was no other person I could speak to with uhaul except for her. This too has been reported. This type of behavior towards customers is unacceptable and going forward I will not be using uhaul services unless the authorized retail location employees and customer service reps have a better understanding of customer service.

Uhaul has poor customer service from the reps to the managers. I was hung up on by someone possibly named Samantha when I asked to speak to her supervisor. She tells me that there is noone past her. When I ask for her name for reference, she hung up the phone in my face. The issue is unresolved. The employee at Black Rock Gardens took the uhaul and trailer not indicating that the drop off location had changed. The last receipt I have is stating that the location for drop off was 38100 n. Gantzel road 85140. Someone updated the system and enter a completely different address.

I asked to have an appliance dolly in the truck before I picked it up and when I got there they had given me a utility dolly and since it was on a Sunday, they were closed so I could not request them to switch it. Then, when doing mobile checkout, I was charged for a utility dolly and an appliance dolly. I think they need to pay a little more attention to the supplies that they are giving compared to what was requested and make sure the customer is not being charged for items they did not receive.

The lot is full of mud from a rain storm. No pavement. Left with a half tank of gas, drove 17 miles and charged $11.25 for gas when I literally used 1/16 of fuel. Complete rip off.

The employee at this location was friendly and helpful. Unhooking the trailer was fast and easy. Overall the location was very good. My issue was that there were Uhaul locations closer to my home and would have been more convenient, but were not offered as an option to return the trailer to. Also, the location I had to return to was not open late on Saturday, or at all on Sunday. I only needed the trailer for Friday and Saturday, but had it for an additional 36-48 hours, which I am sure I paid for. Because of this experience, I will be looking to another rental company the next time I move or need to rent equipment.

Things are going to go wrong at some point, it's how the people involved deal with the issues that make the difference. I found the on line process to be a major pain (site would not let me log in). The tread came off one of the rear tires and “roadside assistance” had me on hold for 30 minutes before I gave up and just drove back to U-haul. But the lady at the office did everything in her power to make it right for me.

It was quick and the person was very helpful and knowledgeable to get me on my way quickly.


Inside windows dirty, wiper blades no good and it did indeed rain, engine 11/2 gl low on coolant and the truck overheated, the transport ball tongue was not locked down and the trailer flipped loose and slammed into the back of the truck while loading the car. I have used Uhaul several times in the past but no longer will bring my business to your company after this experience.


We tried calling and making a reservation a week in advance at this location and could not get ahold of anyone. Then a women finally answered and told us to call back because she was busy. We were never able to get ahold of her again so finally a week later I walk in the day I need the truck and the young man that was in there was on his phone talking to a mechanic about his car and had me sitting there waiting for 10 minutes. Then he finally gets me a truck after that hands me the keys tells me to go find the truck and also has me take the dully with me and doesn't even help. Such horrible customer service at this location I wish I could get my money back.


Employee has headphones in and feet up on his desk when I come inside. Tells me to leave the keys and he will check me out. The following day U-haul calls me to ask if I would like to keep the truck for additional days or if I plan on returning. The attendant never even processed my truck return, and I didn't get my final receipt until 36 hours after I returned the truck, promoted by someone calling him. Terrible experience, I will not be returning.


Quick and easy! In a dirt lot, but easy to maneuver.
