The pickup site was fine, it just was not the right pickup site or the right size vehicle or the right pickup time. I understand it's a busy moving season and trucks are all over... but that's your company. If you wanna argue and say "well it's not really a reservation, it's a request" then don't call it a reservation. There's no point in booking ahead of time and agreeing on all the details and the price if all of that changes without warning. I never received a call, email, or any sort of communication about the changes to my "reservation". We, like many other families doing business with you, had people coming out of their way to help us, relying on the time and place that we reserved. Changing things on a whim is not possible fair to the customer and is often unrealistic -- we were actually pretty lucky that we were able to make it work. You guys have helpful customer service, but their jobs shouldn't be too apologize and "do the best we can" for every customer. The point of the reservation is to RESERVE a time, place, and truck. If you can't do that, say that.

The attendant had to reenter all of my info even though it had been done earlier on the app. He also watched me struggle to load the trailer onto my hitch without offering to help. Eventually, I had to call my sons to come help load it. Less than helpful and caused me to be at the pick up site for almost an hour.
Ellis BReserved truck at Blacksburg. Was sent to Radford instead, extra 30 minutes each way. Took nearly 40 minutes to track down the staff at the quality inn to get the keys to the truck. They made me haul 24 furniture blankets from the hotel lobby to the truck - no help. Furniture dolly that was reserved was unavailable. Worst experience ever with uhaul.
Deb MCustomer service was horrible. And I barely drove the uhaul due to other complications. But still ended up having to pay more than the estimated amount when I drove less. And no one was there to get the key at the front desk.
Nikita FPick up was at 1030, didn't get to pick up until 11 because there was no one there. Due to the late pickup we were delayed. When I tried to call the location to let them know we were going to be late, they kept answering the phone and hanging up. I tried to change the drop off time in the app and it kept saying 'recently edited, try again in 1 hour' never gave me another option. We tried to call a customer service number, they were also unhelpful. Overall experience was just very stressful.
