This was a terrible experience. I made a reservation on the website which is pretty much worthless and saves no time. I entered all my information on the website. I arrived at the place at the right time (4:56PM). There is one person in front of me. After 15 minutes I get to the counter and they want everything they asked for on the website again and more. She tries to sell me stuff I don't need and things I already rejected on the website. I left that place at 5:38PM. The lady who was helping me (Jessica) took forever. The process needs to be faster more efficient. You should not take photographs of customers unless they are photographed directly on the computer camera and not on cell phone.

Are you hole was mechanically damaged. I could barely steer the truck due to stabilization issue. The dash board highlighted stabilization but I had no clue that was the problem however I was having such a difficulty staying in the lane on the freeway for over an hour and a half due to the steering wheel felt like it was going to come off… My first issue with U-Haul ever but it was very horrible and I felt so unsafe

This comment is for the overall experience and not isolated to either pickup or drop off locations. I’ve rented many vehicles and this is the first time renting a car dolly. If I returned a vehicle earlier, I would get a refund of how many days I didn’t use. For the car dolly I returned it a full day earlier and no refund was received. Not too happy with that process and not happy paying for things I didn’t need.

Make sure you have at least 2 people for check- in counter.... schedule for a 9:30, did not get checked in till 10:45.... over an hour in line

The tow dolley at the Colton neighborhood location was available as promised, but the strap to tie down the wheel was broken. We had to drive our car instead of tow it since we had an appointment that day in our destination 4 hours away. What a major inconvenience! Very unprofessional not to check the equipment before promising it to the next customer!

The truck was really dirty including the windshield. The windshield wiper was bent and unusable. (Good thing we're in SoCal and it never rains) The truck smelled like smoke. The workers were very nice though. Got our move done without any issues, just the truck could be better maintained.

This rental was a disaster. I rent often and use the mobile check in. I was half way through checking in when I was kicked out of the app. When I attempted to reenter the order it said that order was no longer active. I call the 800 number and waited for 45 minutes, on hold. When I reached a person she gave me suggestions to reactive the order. I drove back to the location and attempted to use what she told me. This didn't work. I left location and called again knowing my wait time would be significant. After being on hold for 40 minutes I was instructed to return to the location and attempt another fix. When I arrived at the location, my truck was blocked in from other customers who had returned their truck. I returned to the location the next morning and scheduled my truck again but was now significantly behind on the project I was working on. I was told at the location that the computer system had gone down the night before and thus the issues. No offer of reduced rental or anything for all the trouble.

For the average mover ( stressed out) using the mobile app may seem easier to expedite the process but it is better to go over the process either in person or over the phone with a uhaul representative because crucial details will always be overlooked or forgotten. Suggest a reminder email that includes a checklist of important details before and after checking in? Thanks

This was a great experience. Truck & equipment ready to go when we got to store, we were driving away within five minutes, gas station a block away and we left store just as promptly as we arrived. Great value & customer service, we'll be back in a year to move college student out. Thank you

This is a corporate location, they really need to invest some minor monies in new computers here. The current PCs are aged and are always malfunctioning, forcing data re-entry and slowing down the rental process big time at such a busy location. Even the credit card process has to be repeated. The computers have been a problem for at least 6 months that I am aware of. Replace them, now.

Returning the trailer was easy. I was met in the driveway of the U-Haul business in Redlands by a company representative there. They directed me to a parking area, scanned in the trailer, unhitched it, and I was on my way in less than five minutes. Great service!
