Truck was low on gas on departure. Local problem of gas being stolen. Otherwise good experience.

The main problem I had was the billing and movement of different rental locations. When I first checked the rates it was 17.99 for the truck and .69 cents a mile and pick up location was local, I booked the reservation and then the price change was 79.00 dollars for 4 hours and .29 cents a mile and pick up location moved, when I got the reservation the pick up location changed again to even farther away to the final pick up location, I really would like to review the charges but the staff did not seem very knowledgeable in how to correct charges.

We rented a 26 foot truck and the outside was super dirty. Looked like it hadn’t been washed in weeks. This made it difficult to see dings before check out. Otherwise, guy that helped us was nice but waited 20 min for them to bring the truck around.

No one greeted me and walked right by me 3 times without saying welcome to uhaul I’ll be with you in a minute. There was 4 trucks blocking the entrance area must have been rush hour but the 2 employees where just taking there time not caring how long we waited. I was surprised because usually the place is prompt and friendly but this day the manager/owner wasn’t there. I guess what they say is true when the mouse is away the service suffers??

People need to answer the phone. If you can't have a trailer in the same town with a week heads up, then work with the customer. Also when you tell someone to drop off the trailer somewhere then they should let you drop it off.

So I use this location a lot for the last couple times I had call back because I was overcharged I called on this one and they sent me to customer service they said customer service will call me back I was charge for three days when it should have been only two days and I would like my one day back refunded but nobody called me back.

We reserved the truck at the Loma Linda location, and were never notified that the truck would only be available for pick up at the Redlands location. We were never called to confirm the reservation either. It was only by chance that I logged in online and found out the location had changed. When we picked up the truck the employee had me sign on the electronic pin pad without seeing the contract. He said “sign for the amount and that we will go verify the gas”. The gas differed from the printed amount, so the employee initialed next to the correct amount and assured us that was acceptable. Since my signature had already been printed on the contract we didn’t have a lot of say in that matter. When we went to return the truck to a different location we were initially told they could not accept it because the gas amount had been filled in and initialed on the contract in pen by an employee, and we did not have the furniture pads we paid to rent. We never received any furniture pads, nor were they discussed. We called to resolve the issue repeatedly and eventually had to drive back to the Redlands store to talk to someone in person since they don’t answer their phones. The employee who looked up the contract was very nice and reassured us there wouldn’t be an issue with the open contract because they had a note that we were not given furniture pads. She did not suggest refunding us for the furniture pads we paid for but never received. Then, the contract remained open and pending for a MONTH. This has been absolutely ridiculous and we will not be back.

The First Officer charged me extra for gasoline and one extra mile. Thanks to officer Christopher as he refunded my extra gasoline charges, though I have note yet checked my credit card. I told him one mile extra charge is not a matter but it should not be the case.

1) The outside of the vehicle was dirty. 2) The fuel guide was TOTALLY inaccurate! It said that I needed to put in 6 gallons to get it to a quarter tank but it was actually 10 gallons. 3) The uhaul app to return the vehicle is horrible and froze. 4) Since I couldn't use the app after trying twice I called customer care and was placed on hold for over fourteen minutes. Sucky service from Uhaul technology. The general manager at the branch (Isreal) is and amazing dude as is Robert with the hitches. I was very frustrated with trying to use your app, inaccurate fuel information and the long wait time. Sincerely, Jamie
