The man was very nice and helpful which we liked very much. It was not crowded and it was easy to pick up the truck. However, this was not the location we requested online so picking it up added an extra level of running around on our moving day which put us behind schedule. We also found the blankets we rented were not packaged in plastic like we have had before. They were dirty and tattered, not what I would expect when having to pay for them. We also discovered later that on the back of the Safe Move Rental Tag, it says, "Corner cap is torn with a temporary aluminum tape repair. Customer accepts the risk of water damage." This was never brought to our attention and was not written in a place that was easy to see. We would NEVER have accepted a truck that put us at risk for water damage!! We have irreplaceable things like pictures and documents that were in our shipment, We were very upset when we discovered this.

Offer a newer model for long distance moves. I requested a newer model, but got one that was over 108,000 miles. It did the 800 mile trip, but I wonder why I couldn't get my requested truck.



I would much prefer to receive truck with a full tank. This would make it easier to know if I am returning tank at same level as I received it. It is difficult to gauge how much gas to put in to return at same level when you do not receive a full tank.

I WAS CHARGED OVER 140$ EXTRA WITHOUT CONSENT AND SENT 60 MILES AND AN HOUR OUT OF MY WAY!!!!!! When i set up the reservation online i selected the zip code i was moving to 96096, Shingletown California, i was rather shocked as it is a very small spread out rural area but the location did come up to select. When i went to pick the truck up in Reno NV i asked the attendant to print me a map, he obliged, when printing the map however he said the location appeared to be in the middle of nowhere and said he could change it to an open ended destination in case i ran into an issue, he then informed me as well he would add an additional 20 miles in case i needed to use it, at the time i thought nothing of it. When i was done unloading the uhaul i went to the Shingletown CA location in my contract and i could not find any uhaul! No sign, no huge fleet of trucks displayed out anywhere! I went in side the address of the location on my contract, a small store attached to a gas station, i asked the young attendant where i drop my uhaul off with, he stared at me blankly informing me he had not a clue what i was talking about, that i was not at a uhual location, Great! So i drove around aimlessly looking for a uhaul, wasting gas and mileage that i was later charged for, until if finally decided to google a new uhaul address comming to terms that i was not going to find one there, low and behold i found one, the closest one, which was 30 miles away from where i was! So rather unhappy at this point i drove all the way to that location, going over my mileage and wasting yet even more gas. When i finally found the location in Palo Cedro CA i pulled in around 9:30 am, and i couldn't find an attendant anywhere, there was a small building with a uhaul sign and a open sign lit up, and several trucks but not a soul in site, and the door to the office was locked as well. After walking around for about 15 minutes i finally found someone but he was to busy working on his car to listen to my complaints about the location mishap, so i put the keys in the drop box and drove another 40 miles to get back home. Now here it is a day later and i have been charged by uhaul 140$, when i called i was told it was due to mileage, gas and wrong location drop off, well isnt that grand, i was sent to a location that according to a person working there didn't exist so i am now to be charged what amounts a second rental rate $140 because i had to drive the truck to the next city over? This is a terrible way to treat your customers and is a terrible way to do business, when i called uhual in hopes to explain my mistake and they would reimburse me, well the first attendant hung up on me and the second, while very friendly basically said i should just fill out this form and hope mi contacted.... awesome ... very disappointed that uhual treated me this way, im already moving which is incredibly expensive, to charge me what it cost to rent another truck for 4 days and 200 miles simply

confusing place to return truck to- very limited parking before locked gate, so had to park truck and car to pick of driver of truck. Office is very small, if a customer is being helped the next customer has to wait outside. Recommend would be a maybe.

What happen to UHAUL being affordable?! I used a 14' truck for 6 hours, traveled 15 miles and was charged over $100. I will never use UHAUL again. HIGHWAY ROBBERY.



The windows (outside and inside), and side mirrors should be clean when picking up the rental. We had to clean the windows and side mirrors before we started our trip. There was brown liquid on the passenger side mirror and the windshield inside had a "greasy" film over the entire window.



I originally asked to pick up the truck at the Mt Rose Storage Unit area, but dispatch sent the order to South Meadow Storage Unit. It took some doing but the two Storage Unit owners/managers worked together so that I could pick up the truck where my storage unit is and where I originally wanted to pick it up. I appreciate both the Storage Unit people working together to make my move a fast and efficient one. Thank you, Lori Salveson
