The drop off location was awful. Employee was very very rude. I disconnect the trailer and had to wait and wait for them to come out and check in the unit. I said hello 3 times they just kept walking and we're extremely rude. I would never use this location as a pickup or drop off location. It also was dirty and difficult to park trailer very narrow Ally area used for u-haul.

Review the dates of the contract with the customer. That computer or clerk changed the return date which caused a lot of frustration when the truck was due back before original schedule

Truck was not clean when checked out. Drove 14 miles prior to return. Truck returned in the exact condition that it was given to me and they charged a $25 "cleaning fee". There was another hidden fee for returning it after hours that wasn't posted anywhere until I read the signed contract. The fee was equivalent to an additional day so we kept it the additional day instead of being assessed the "convenience" fee. After calling about the cleaning fee the location was unable to help me and unable to look up the closed contract and directed me to call a number for uhaul. I called and they had to open a case which will take days to resolve. I am reversing the CC charge until this issue is resolved and will have nothing good to say about uhaul and their hidden fees or thelocation itself. I'm going to leave them this bad review as well. I have pictures of when I rented the truck and when it was returned as evidence of this fraud.

The service I received was unacceptable. The equipment I scheduled to pick up was confirmed 3 or 4 times. When I arrived to pick up the truck it was ready. The auto tow was not. I was charged for all equipment and told to come back to pick up the auto tow equipment. When I returned to get the auto tow, I was told they could not attach the auto because it was broken and guy who serviced equipment was not available. The clerk at the counter stated she has been trying to get in contact with him for days. I spoke with U-Haul's customer service staff “Alex” who was very rude, Alex would not provide a customer service number to file a complaint, he hung up on me, would not allow me to speak with another person until my third call. Alex located a auto 136 miles away. I did not receive any accommodations for the out of area expenses to pickup the auto tow. I was on a tight time line to travel from Ridgrcrest to Daytona Beach Fl. I would like to be compensated for the gas to Lake Isabella, CA back to Ridgrcrest CA, it was not my error. U Haul staff/equipment provider confirmed my rental then made me responsible for their error. The customer staff treated me with disrespect on speaker phone for the on-site staff to hear how I was being treated. Unacceptable. Please contact me regarding this matter at 324-449-1300. Truck was pretty dirty. Could immediately tell the previous renter smoked inside the vehicle. There was ash forward of the steering wheel on the dash. Broken chips in the center console and floor along with French fries. A pair of dirty socks was on the floor in the passenger foot well. Half drank bottles were littered behind and under the seats. A sticky syrup was near the cup holders. The windshield was covered in bugs and had to be my first stop to clean it off. If this truck wasn't rented for work purposes I would of not accepted it. None of these vehicles seem to have cruise control as other locations do.

Person at store had no idea how to hook up the trailer. Also had no blankets, I asked that the blanket charge removed from my bill before I left. Lady at Ridgecrest did not did not remove from bill. Had to explain what happened at Final destination.

Remove the selection of 8foot pick up truck. I choosed this and it was not available in the area so i had to choosse i bigger truck and pay more.

My truck was not clean inside the cab or the storage area. The girl that checked me out on the day of my pick up seemed rude with her reply when I asked a simple question. She did not explain anything about the fueling. I am disappointed with this person. The other girl I reserved the truck from a few day prior was very helpful though.

Inside cabin of Cargo van was dirty, Sticky substance on console and floor. Interior windshield was dirty and covered with a oily film. Very hard to see at night with oncoming traffic.

I rented this vehicle on 12/8/2019 at 10:04 am and returned it the same day at around 10:00 pm. I used the vehicle for a total of 10 miles. The gas tank started at 7/8 of a gallon. Before returning the vehicle i filled it back to 7/8. The after reciept, which i did not sign, said i returned it with 3/4 tank. The tank never even reached 3/4. I was charged $11.50 for 2 gallons that was not needed to get the tank to 3/4. I know 2 gallons does not get this vehicle to 3/4 from 7/8 because i put roughly that many gallons to get to that fill from a little more than 3/4. I will never do business with this company and am putting in a complaint with the BBB.
